As the thread title suggests, this mod is for 1.6.2 and 1.6.4. It, like most all other mods, will not work on 1.7.2. Forge has only very recently started to release versions for 1.7, andit will take some time before things are updated to that version.
Thank-you. Hopefully it will be updated soon, then.

You insult me because I act different, I insult you because you act the same. In the end we all get hurt, so lets be friends and stop this fighting, Ok?
Thank-you. Hopefully it will be updated soon, then.
You always have the option to downgrade to a previous version of Minecraft, such as 1.6.4, which is what most mods are still on right now. It's pretty easy to do now with the Minecraft Launcher.
Have a bug to report.

I built an armor stand for the hell of it and while putting some armor on it I figured I'd see what the Ender Head from Iguana Tweaks for Tinker's Construct. Mod pack the server is using is Magic Farm 2, not the most recent update. The game proceeded to boot me off and anyone who so much as looks in the general direction of the surrounding chunks gets booted. Which means the server is pretty much offline at this time since everyone's place is located around a central auto-wheat/tree farm.
If this has already been fixed that would certainly make my day. Not sure how much other information is needed but I can certainly supply the crash log if needed.

There's an option in the config settings to disable rendering so you can remove whatever is causing the crash from the armor stand.
# Setting this to true will disable all renderers. This will allow a world to be loaded and a problem item removed from a BiblioCraft block in case of a rendering related crash.
B:DisableRenderers=false
Doesn't seem to be working. I've been able to back my way up to it so far but it's kicked me twice. Trying a third time but now I'm in the same chunk and not sure if it'll let me.And that's a no. Here's the bug report I'm getting. I don't really understand how to read it.

So I have a crazy question.... My family and I play on a server, and we were thinking it would be kinda cool to have a board game mod. You know, to give us something to do once we are finished building our mansions, and all that. You seemed to be the right guy to approach about it, since your mod adds all kinds of household items. Think something like that would be possible?
the bibliocraft not work with other mods. I tried to change the ID but the game crashes... What can I do?
Post the crash log and we'll see what we can do. In a spoiler tag, please.

You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!
Thanks everyone for more great comments. If I get some time soon I am thinking I will put together another bug fix for 1.6.4. There is a few things now that seems to have come up that I would like to address before moving onto 1.7.
I'm using Witchery (http://www.minecraft...-witchery-0131/) in conjunction with bibliocraft but have an issue where the witch's outfit will not show up on the armor stand. Any way you could add compatibility with that pretty please?
I'll have a look when I get a chance and see what needs to happen to add support.
I noticed that I can put the torch into the front-glass case. This is not a good idea. Especially, when I will put into the case some exhausted torch from "Unlit Torches And Lanterns" mod, then the case emits light.
In my opinion, the front-glass case should not emit light.
This was by design as I figure anything that emits light should still emit light even when its on a shelf or in a case. I see where when using the unlit torches mod this could be an issue. Maybe I could see about a config option to disable light emission from certain blocks in 1.7. I'll wait till the Minecraft 1.7. update before adding more options since I expect I will have to completely redo how config is done. But it will be so worth it because we will be able to have all the config options available in-game instead of a separate config file.
Have a bug to report.

I'll have to download that mod and see what is happening. Perhaps that is something I can tweak and get working as well.

I thought about at one point making a little board game pieces mod. Just basically block sized game pieces that could be used to make different kinds of really big game boards. My buddies and I had and that was where I was going to use them. That is just something I never got around to though. Many types of board games though can be fairly easily handled with computercraft. There is a mod that adds a nice chess set the size of a block that is playable called Panicle craft.
Other then that I don't really have any plans to implement much in the way of that stuff. If I ever do get around to a game-board pieces mod it will likely be a seperate mod all together. I can't say for sure when or if that will happen. Definitely not until after BiblioCraft is updated for 1.7 and I do another big feature update, I can say that at least.
Maps in map frames are drawing itselt new every time I log in.
Besides of that I have some weird issue when creating a new map (blank), let it draw itself in a new area and putting it next to an already existing one in a map frame: the existing one disappears. Breaking the map frame gets me only the map frame and a piece of paper.
The maps re-drawing every time you log in is normal minecraft behavior. The maps should function exactly as they do in vanilla and on item frames. I just have the borderless appearance + the waypoint pins which is kind of a separate behavior and just reads from the maps that are placed on the frame.
For the other part, only getting a piece of paper back, that is really odd. I haven't seen that before. Are there any error messages happening? I'm really not sure what could cause that since i basically just save the map to the map frame the same way the chest saves stuff. Its just a single slot chest that only accepts maps and has no inventory GUI.
Does this work with 1.7.2, or do we have to wait for an update?
One day it will! There will be a big announcement on my website on that day, and likely here on the forum as well. Forge still isn't quite ready yet. Though they have a working version for 1.7.2 there is still some stuff they need to do before its full ready for me to start my update. We are still awaiting an officially release on Minecraft Coder Pack as well. The alpha and beta releases still don't have the common names so it is real difficult to determine what is what in the code, especially with all the changes in the vanilla code that took place. When the tools are ready though, I promise I will be working hard on an update.
You need to open the BiblioCraft.cfg and find the line with "ReadingEnchant=188" and change the 188 to a new number. That is the ID that is conflicting with another mod.
I can't seem to get the website to load so I can download - I keep getting the message 'Error establishing a database connection'
Seems to be fixed now, no worries
Wierd! I dunno what happened there. It was after I seen your message I went and restarted my web server and then it seemed to work fine. Thanks for reporting the issue. Hopefully it wasn't down too long!
Sorry if this problem has been brought up before, but can someone explain to me why when i have item in a shelf the rotate to face me and look 2d instead of facing one direction and being 3d?

Getting this error when players right click Bibliocraft tables on my MCPC+ server.
Edit fixed it, was one specific table, had to worldedit it away. Any mobs or players that interacted with it crashed.

We need a crash report, it's located in a folder inside .minecraft. With it, we can tell exactly what went wrong.
