This may seem like a ridiculous question and I apologize for asking because I'm sure mod authors don't like it to be asked so yeah... Any chance of making mystic world for earlier versions of minecraft? lol (I'm still on 1.5.2 at the moment)

Ehh!? Did you already have a 1.5.x version and I just didn't see it? That was awfully fast lol! If you just made that after I said something then... Wow lol... Also, thank's for the quick response, I definitely didn't expect that awesome of a result in your response though lol, I wish there were more mod authors like you.

Don't worry, I play on my friend's server which had an old dev version of MysticWorld and I couldn't stand the lack of my and allstar602's new features, so I grabbed the new 1.6.x code and ported it to 1.5.2 for my own use. I suppose I should go ahead and release it publicly so that way others who are in their right mind and are still on 1.5.2 can get the nice features! And yeah, I've had good (and bad) experiences with other modders in this community, so I try to be pretty good about communicating with the users, after all, you all are the very reason why I make my mods! Anyways, sorry for the wall of text, and enjoy!
Not sure if its a bug but I haven't been able to find blue soulstone or bloodstone anywhere in the nether. I've found lots of black and red soulstone so they are generating right. As a test I went into a creative world and flew around the nether with a x-ray mod just to see if they where just very rare spawns. After about 3 hours of flying a round I couldn't find any at all. Not even any hidden under the lava oceans. Since the config doesn't have the ability to change the ore spawn rate. I know I can craft blood stone from a mystic gem thanks to NEI but can't craft the blue soulstones using any of the gems. Not sure if this is the same bug that someone else has posted about adamantine or not. I'll up its world gen and do another test in another new world just to make sure and let you know what I find.

I've been seeing the same thing, I don't know if the rarity is too low for minecraft to feel the need to generate it or not, but I need to do a revamp of the worldgen.
All credit for original textures goes to Rhodox. The only diffrence is that I have updated textures for Mystic Stone and Mystic Ores.
Note that I changed the look of a few blocks and tools due to the fact that they didn't look quite as nice. I also custom made the texture for the Magical Bag. I will never add adfly for the download due to the fact that a big chunck of the textures are not mine.
Just open the painterly resource pack with winzip or winrar then open the assets folder and drag and drop, the extracted folder in the downloaded rar file I provided, into the painterly resource pack.
I will send an email to Rhodox with the textures I have provided so that he can update the customizer for future support of this mod.

Looks great, I will likely add these to the original post and the wiki as soon as possible!
Mystic Ores 1.7 for Minecraft 1.5.2 is incompatible (still) with PeacefulPack.
Details:
Installing Mystic Ores along with PeacefulPack on Minecraft 1.5.2 causes a stack overflow on world generation. The specific error is:

Removing Mystic Ores (while leaving Mystic Ruins and Mystic Stones installed) allows the world generation to continue.
Notes:
In the past I have posted a bug report in both the Mystic and Peacefulpack forums but unfortunately the issue still remains. I have not been able to get both mods installed together since 1.4.7.
First, thank you so much for updating, improving and expanding the Mystic Mods! I'm happy to see their future is in capable hands. I remember using it briefly in the beta days, and have been using it's updates extensively as well. I'm looking forward to Mystic World when it's ready for release.
Second, I've run into a small problem with Mystic Stones, and I've been taking the last three weeks to verify it since it could easily be subjective. On my multiplayer server, I've run three worlds so far using the 1.7.2 version of these mods. The first two world only seemed to have limestone and marble from the Mystic Stones mod, but none of the other colored stone types. A started a third world about two weeks ago, and have only been able to find Migmatite and Travertine on this one. I've been playing daily on this world for about two weeks.
Initially, I thought you might have changed the stones to a biome-based generation system, and it hadn't got into the change logs. To test that, I tunnelled about 500 blocks both north and east from my start point at y=32, but I still only found the two stone types despite crossing multiple biome boundaries.
My current setup is as follows:
Basic Information-
Minecraft 1.6.2
Minecraft Forge 9.10.0.842
World Type: Biomes O' Plenty
I'll be happy to provide any other information you like if it will help.
Finally, I noticed that you had plans for making the ores compatible with Tinkers Construct a few pages back. Is that still planned, or has Mystic World eaten the time available for that?
Time to test a fourth world, I think. Good luck on college, work and coding!

May have something to do with the worldtype you're using, I'm not sure if MysticStones fully supports ALL world types, or simply default/large biomes

Thanks, I'm glad that you like them. I hope others will enjoy them as much as I do.
That's a shame, this mod has been rewritten since January!
Glad you like it though!
