- switching to private network requires a click with a diamond, but switching to public requires the tank to be broken and placed back down.
Oh, that reminds me: Could you add a config option to allow the item ID of the switching item to be modified? In Ender Storage, you can do that, and I used that option to make it require an ender pearl (fairly rare until you've killed the Ender Dragon) as I felt that was better balanced to switching between private/public. Thanks!

Fire And Ice
Some say the world will end in fire
Some say in ice
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire
But if it had to perish twice
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice
- added two more logic gate options, Under Half Full & Over Half Full
- EnderTanks now respond to redstone, while powered they will syphon from a tank above and/or empty into a tank bellow.
Next, I wanted to create 32x textures for your mod - for the JSTRx32 pack - but I ran into two little problems. The first occurs with the original textures as well - the yellow / blue colors of the tanks are not rendered correctly. Got any idea what could I try on my end to solve that? (Optifine'd FTB as client)
Second thing is, with my new textures, the color bands do not show up any more. I can't find the texture that's in charge for those bands on the tank (the bucket is included). Any pointer here?
And finally, neither NEI nor Creative seem to find the EnderBucket. What am I doing wrong here?
Here's a screenshot from both the original textures and the ones I created/tweaked to display the problems:
First I've seen them like that, do they render correctly without Optifine?
Here is the v1.4 textures (same as 1.3 but with gate icons added)
First Row:
Normal Top/Bottom
Normal Sides
Personal Tom/Bottom
Personal Sides
Tank Code Band Texture
<Space>
Gate: Empty
Gate: Full
Gate: Has Liquid
Gate: Has Space
Gate: Under Half Full
Gate: Over Half Full
Second Row:
Bucket Base
Normal Bands
Personal Bands
Top Code Band
Middle Code Band
Bottom Code Band
"neither NEI nor Creative seem to find the EnderBucket. What am I doing wrong here?"
Nothing,
I was using the name to display the liquid information, and forgot to set an internal object name.
Turned out the system didn't work unless you where the host, and when I removed it I noticed my mistake v1.4 has the fix.
v1.4 is out
- Added config option to change item used for making tanks personal
- Added two more BuildCraft gate triggers, "Over Half Full" and "Under Half Full"
- EnderTanks now respond to redstone, while powered they will syphon from a tank above and/or empty into a tank bellow.
Thank you for your reply. It was indeed Optifine being all twitchy. An update cured that. One thing I noticed while testdriving the textures in FTB was an ID conflict between the "EnderBucket" of EnderTanks and the "EnderPouch" of EnderStorage - once I installed EnderTanks, the bucket was (finally^^) there, but the pouch had gone missing. I suppose that is a mere problem with the configs of FTB, just thought I'd let you know. =)
In case you have a use for them (I already posted them in the JSTR thread over at the FTB forums, too), here's the JohnSmith texture version I build:
I'm both glad to see it was Optifine and that you got it working. I wasn't sure how I'd solve it when I couldn't replicate the problem.
The default EnderPouch id seems to be 7237, as that's what is auto generated after deleting the config file. (DW20's pack has it at 7237 also)
The default EnderBucket id is 5380.
Not sure what changed the defaults on you, but they do play nice together, just need to make a change in one of the config files
If its alright with you I'll add your textures to the main post.

No clue, but as I said, re-downloading the latest optifine got rid of the problem. I suppose it had something to do with the ender-effect used by the buckets in some way. But hey, it works. So it's no big deal.

Agreed. I re-downloaded the modpack, re-installed EnderTanks and not a single conflict occured. I can't tell what caused the conflict - as I never fiddled with the config myself - but just as with the texture-error, it's gone and no longer a problem. =)
As the original designer and head of the Ender Storage project, I officially approve of this mod. ^-^ This is very very similar to what I had talked about doing before giving the project over to CB. I'm really glad someone has taken the same concept and implemented it so well.
Personally I hope so, I prefer this to ChickenBones version. For one thing, it has the bucket.
Granted, the CB version you can see the internal storage at a glance and has the nice flowing filling/emptying effect, but they're just visual things and not really important functionality. Being able to right click works better for me.

When mango eggs fly, what is the square root of the tomato?
ChibiCD:
That is in the mcmod.info file,
Never seen @VERSION@ appear anywhere so I assumed it was just a flag that got replaced with the internal number.
I'll have to update that from now on
Well I have a working copy of EnderTanks for Minecraft 1.5,
I can either do a pre-release without BC gate support (the API isn't ready) or hold off the release until the API is ready.
I was planning on waiting for the API, but if someone requests the pre-release I'll do it.
Can you possibly make a second download link? Ive been doing some modding recently and I have reached my downloading limit on Mediafire. Now I have to wait a whole week just to download your mod. :/
-Also if you could message me a solution that would be awesome Thanks again!

Just had a lot of problems in the old video + a lot of dislikes :P.
I fixed most of the stuff now...
EnderTanks now released
@xXMrSonXx
Just let me know when its ready and I'll update the main post
Keep it going!

Edit:
Lol, you from Ontario too!
You live in the GTA etc.?
Used SrgNames this time (thought I did last time) so this version should also work with future minor version updates of Minecraft.
@xXMrSonXx
nope, much closer to Kingston
