I don't use PCX files, I use Paint.net to make my sprites and I save them directly as a .PNG. If you are considering making a pack, I would highly recommend Paint.net. #1 It's free. #2 It's very similar to Photoshop and you can get more addons for added effects, brushes, etc. Hope this helps.
So... What is the complete recipe about the gun? Not part of it.
You have to use the Gun Crate in order to make the guns using the parts you can craft. You can't craft the guns without the crate. I'm sorry it's just the way I put them. Once you get the gun crate then you can craft the guns. Here is an example:
You need a set of match gun parts and a wood stock to make a standard M14. Do you see what I'm saying? You just have to look at the recipes in the crates. Hope this helps you.
do you know whats up with the acracy of flans guns ive been going trough the mod and testing something but the accuracy of the bullets itn this mod is bad they either dip to early defiantly for snipers or curve to the left or right
I have noticed this too, but i have no idea why sorry. This is why I set all of my bullet speeds higher. It seems the faster the more accurate the shots get. Also there is an accuracy variable in the gun files.
Great pack! The m14EBR is one of my favorite guns ever(Also the L96(Hint Hint)). The sights all look amazing and I like the way you mixed crafting with the use of the gun boxes. Although I personallly prefer to get rid of gun boxes all together, I'll deffinitly give this one a shot!
Dang son!! That was a really fast reply with the guns, and they look so sweet! I'd say go with the tan model, but the olive is definetly more original and well known.
So I've been messing around with your pack and I've really enjoyed it. The one critique I'd have for you is that the guns kick just a little too much. Its fine with the scoped, but when you use red dot and iron sights, the kick really makes ADS(aiming down sights) impractical. Also you lose the ability to fire consecutive rounds quickly, which the m14 is great for, when it kick that much. Anyway, thats just my opinion. Great work, I really enjoyed it!
Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad someone my age knows what they're talking about. I also agree with you about the kick on the None Sniper M14's, I'll fix that in the next update and I'll get working on files for the L115A3 Mini-pack..... This is gonna rock!
Edit: What sound do you think would go good? I have the COD Black Ops and more generic sound. I'm looking for a boom but not a .50cal boom, just a nice solid boom.....
I really like your GUI models.
I also made some for my WIP content pack too, but they're not as good as yours.
Thanks, I come from a Ace of Spades back ground and I've had some experience with SLAB6. It's a very "minecrafty" 3d modeling program since it uses tiny blocks instead of Ngons (3d polygons with more than 4 sides).I forgot to mention that I should have the L115A3 mini-pack done by tonite since it is the weekend.
It would be awesome, but unfortunately I am no good at Techne and have no experience with MCP. Sorry I'm just a pixel artist.
I would recommend this website: http://www.minecraft-smp.de/news.php It has many turrets, planes, tanks, cars, and more from experienced Techne modelers.

You choose Tan or Olive? Comment Tan or Olive below and in a few days I'll tally up the votes.

Oh..... Woops, I guess I forgot that. I will have the recipe on by Saturday Morning. Thanks for telling me.
P.S. You have any guns you want a lot?
