Hey mDiyo, did you see the post about my bug report? It's quite an annoying bug. It actually effects every regular type tool and not only what I posted. It was on page 112.

Freestyler, stop being obnoxious about it. mDiyo has definitely seen it, but because you keep trying to get his attention, you will be ignored.

How about something quick and cheap for starting out or else charge-happy players eh?
Atlatl, An EXTREMELY Simple ranged weapon that is comparable to a slingshot in use- It is usually a bone or a stick with a hook, used to launch Javelins, Darts, or Arrows. Does not have a charge, only standard damage- right click and it's gone, but sprinting forward allows for critical damage by increasing the sheer momentum. Allows for fletching to be good for more than just bows. Bows strictly superior due to accuracy from long range, and ability to use them while strafing, thus avoiding sprinting type mobs, Clusters of mobs, or AOE Attacks- But sheer damage for being able to put your body into it makes up for this mildly, however, the sheer time it takes to re-notch ammunition for this weapon also makes for a downfall- as the user must ensure that the end of the projectile is lined with the spur.
Parts being Handle+Weight (POSSIBLY + Spur, the part that hooks onto the dart/javelin, but really that could just be a formation on the handle)- Which, the Weight needs to be heavy obviously, so I am not sure that paper qualifies at all. However, it might be an interesting case, because it means that the handle is both the tool tip and the handle modifier.
Improvements to the atlatl it's self might just be simple ones- Repair and Durability upgrades, it's not a complex weapon and thus most of it's improvements are truly within the projectile it's self. Of course, any improvements that would increase charge speed on a bow instead simply make the atlatl reset faster.
Otherwise; I want to make some suggestion that would make Bows more 'high tech' in this mod- such as a more complex recipe, but I can't seem to think of anything. It is certainly more complex than putting string on an especially long stick. Ahh well.

Thought for making Bows and ranged weapons beyond "Pointy thrown stick" or boomerangs into more tier-2 weapons;
Glue, requires bonemeal+ Bottled Water, and then this "Glue mix" is put into a furnace to be cooked to Glue. Used for affixing a fletching (feathers or wooden fins) to wood. Plus, String+Glue = Sinew, making a better string for a bow than twine. This Glue could also be used for armors and other parts.
Otherwise- Thought for another ranged weapon for piddle on the go- Repeating Crossbow. This weapon is only slightly higher tier than a bow though it's complexity leaves many in awe. This weapon fires up to 5 projectiles a second of it's custom ammo type- However, these projectiles are quite weak, often only doing one to two damage, and without a critical strike capability and very low knockback. This may seem to reduce it to a toy- but damage is the least of it's point- this weapon requires very cheap ammo (Think sticks more or less), and, most importantly, is not used broadly for damage. Much like it's real world counterpart, the REAL reason behind this weapon, is effects. Fire, Poison, you name it, it projects it, making it the easiest way to piddle down an enemy with poison to weaken them if you are on the run.
It's stregnths are cheaper ammo (Does not require stabilizing fins) and fast attack speed, but it's tradeoffs are lower damage and lack of critical- which means that your poison dart might not even penetrate the armor of the dude in diamond. It's parts are Recurve (The bow), Stock (Main body and mechanical innards), and Ammunition Feeder (Box with sticks in it, blah).

Does anyone else think that maybe mDiyo should create a Tinker's Construct suggestion thread specifically for suggestions? I mean, suggestions are absolutely awesome and all, as long as they're posted properly but they're suddenly taking up whole pages.
crafted with a bow, a lever and the barrel (metal) with the handle (wood). the difference to a regular bow would be, that you can have it loaded and ready upfront, when you encounter a mob, instead of first having draw your bow, when the creeper is already in your face.
of course, it would take longer to load, but also bring a lot more punch by default, than a regular bow.
enchantments and bolt effects would be the same as for regular bows.

No, you are wrong. The post was missed the first time(why would I be ignored?), I reposted it after I noticed but it was against the rules so it was removed before mDiyo could see it. I mentioned it now because it's clearly been missed, as mDiyo seems to reply to most people who are asking or informing of something.
You seem to think this is about getting attention, you are sorely mistaken. I'd like this mod to become as great as it can be. Don't make assumptions about me, not everyone here is 11 years old.
Will you be adding blow guns with the ranged weapon update?

Yes that would be a lot better but who will run it while mDyio is working on one of the best mods ever
Hey, I just want to ask if Aluminum is compatible with GregTech Aluminium dust? Since you get 4-8 (I think) GT aluminium per GT Bauxite ore, you should make 4 GT aluminium dust equal 1 Tinker's Construct aluminum ore in the smelter. I'm just not sure that I want to regenerate my world to get a new alumin(i)um ore.
I believe all aluminum is equivalent in the forge ore dictionary so most likely yes
I figured that I should probably tell you about a bug that I found. When I was playing around with smelteries in creative and I made a 64 block high version. I tried to fill it to the top with ores and it caused the game to crash. While the idea was an interesting one that I would never actually use in survival, I thought that I should let you know about it.
Freestyler555: I was the one who reported your post for breaking the rules. I don't respond to bug reports or suggestions often; please stop being annoying about it.
Qwertygiy: This sounds like a good idea. I'm not sure why everyone has decided to post suggestions all of the sudden... even the good suggestions aren't very helpful when I know exactly what to make next.
CreateNPlay: I'll need more information than that.
elkillo: Lead is 100% useless.
wasmic5z: TConstruct aluminum is explicitly compatible with Xycraft aluminum. It's not compatible with Gregtech for a variety of reasons.
Not a bug. slot 1 tool == slot 9 block. otherwise slot # tool (say 4) == slot X+1 (5) block
Oh my.

Actually, no, TConstruct aluminum is "ingotNaturalAluminum" while GregTech is "ingotAluminium".
