regarding 1.7: I am in the middle of the update, and have been working on it for several weeks, the shear number of changes that have occured make this update very challenging.
regarding greyscale+ color overlay textures: its on the long long list of things we want to investigate in 1.7
Ok, i know several people have reported similar issues recently, but i cannot get glue or blood or liquid emeralds out of my smelteries - but only on servers. when i build a smeltery in a singleplayer world it works just fine and damages mobs and players, however, on the server i have running for my friends and I it refuses to damage any mob or player, the mod pack used is 1.0.11 of Direwolf20's pack for 1.6.4 - this is really bugging me because it feels like it must be a server setting i have missed somewhere, and any help would be appreciated
Edit: ok so i have found the issue - on the server the gravestone from OpenBlocks was active - after disabling it for an unrelated reason the smelteries on the server work correctly
I'm having a problem when I tried to craft a "blank pattern" but I can't seem to pull it out of the table. I click it and it comes out and then pops back in the table and all of my crafting mats are still there. Maybe it's conflicting with another mod? Seems like I wouldn't be able to use the mod at all if it conflicted with another one.
I just deleted all my other mods so I only have TConstruct_mc1.6.4_1.5.3d2. I'm on Minecraft version 1.6.2.
It's still not working properly.
So I've been fiddling around with this mod and I can say that it is very enjoyable. I do wonder however why there is no way to obtain steel.
Also there seems to be an issue with this mod and Thermal Expansion in which Tinkers Alloy and Bronze seem to share a few recipes (Tinkers Alloy into Bronze Blocks and vice-versa). None of the conversions have happened so far but it's a little disconcerting.
EDIT: Brainfail on the suggestion part, gonna post it in the right place now ._.
Hello, I do quite enjoy your mod, and I would really like to try the bows out more, only the FPS drop makes them basically unplayable for me. I noticed you had said something about this issue earlier:
Alexiy: It probably has to do with the way the icons are layered and looked up. I don't think there's anything else I can do.
Which is a bit of a disappointment, but after some thought I had an idea on how to sort of "fix" this. Would it be possible to make some sort of config option or graphics setting that, instead of rendering the bows with all of the different layers on them (which is where I presume the problem comes from), renders a simple generic bow texture without all of the layers? It might fix a lot of this problem for some with lower-end graphics cards, though at the cost of not being able to see their pretty bows...
So I've been fiddling around with this mod and I can say that it is very enjoyable. I do wonder however why there is no way to obtain steel. I have a suggestion on how to implement it using the Smeltery however. If iron is present in the Smeltery (And no mod that adds it is installed) then coal is processed and converts some of the iron into steel.

It works on singleplayer just not multiplayer.
Solved::::: I did not have forge on my server bit. I just installed the forge server and put the file into the mods folder (the server one) and it work's in multiplayer now.
Bash76: a mod is including an old version of the MFR API
Tankman101: Tinkers' Alloy and bronze are the same thing, i however could not rename it in TConstruct in 1.6.4 without some adverse affects
You can put in chain mail from vanilla or steel from mods such as Thermal Expansion 3 or railcraft
mDiyo, I think I've found a bug. Possibly not a bug idk, just annoys me too much. It's the texture bug with the clear glass pane. Basically on one side of the pane the texture is normal and on the other it is like split in half and merged. Look at the picture down below. It's like on the eastern side it is normal, but the western it is bad. Please look into it, I'm making a house and it is annoying.
Strange block id issue on the server i play on the casting basin will produce TK blocks and break them down into TK ingots however the casting table outputs IC2 ingots instead of the TK ingots ?? any idea why ?

Thought TE also added Bronze but it would appear you are right. Nice to know there isn't some weird collision. The names will still haunt me in my sleep though, OCD and all.
Would be nice if the ore berries were added into Natura instead to go with the nature part of it. Also could you make it so we can add other ores to the smeltery from other mods? Tried smelting Bauxite from Pixelmon but, couldn't even though I know this mod does aluminum.

Can't believe I missed that.
TE3 also adds two ways to get Steel. 4 Charcoal and I Iron, or 2 Coal dust (Pulverized Coal) and 1 Iron. Only works in Inductions Smelter but you should then be able to melt that ingot down in the Smeltery.
Minor issue, but clear glass doesn't seem to be treated as a standard block, mods that auto-detect standard blocks just refuse to work with it. This seems a bit odd since the CTM functionality of it shouldn't require it to be a non-standard block or block with tile data, it would just lose the CTM function when being used by other mods (which I'm fine with)
I thought maybe it had something to do with it being a transparent block, but vanilla glass works fine for both facades and microblocks.
Hi. I'm having a problem with a bow. When I'm playing normally, I get over 100 FPS easily. But when I pull back my bow, it drops me down around 20~25 FPS. But as soon as I let go, I'm back to normal FPS. Suggestions?

I had a similar problem, just vice versa (inside was weird, outside was fine).
I really like this mod and have used it many many many times before but unfortunately there is an id conflict could help me with this?
the error code is in here. Im guessing you can also find the list of mods.

Is there any way to FIX that? I want to use the custom bows, but I can't when they give me FPS in the single digits.

With Ars Magica 2 healing it just creates infinite emeralds
