Right, the server registers the block broke and drops the items, the client doesn't receive the blockBreak update though so it only sees the dropped items until you log out and back in, or leave the loaded area and come back (receiving a full chunk update) where the block itself should be missing.
It didn't destroy the block after logout neither the items from my inventory disappeared.

Sorry for any misspelling, the english isn't my native language.
Would you be so kind as to add in game documentation as to the function of casting chanels, slime chamels, ect... As well as the difference if any between the overworld and nether materials when used in smeltery construction.
I'd love to second this request; I've sorta-kinda figured casting channels out (I think), but I'm not sure about slime channels. And I'd really like to know how the nether version of the smeltery differs from the overworld version, if at all?
Also, could you please add a tiny bit more clarity for the Pig Iron alloy recipe? Right now it simply says, "1 Iron, 1 Emerald, 1 Blood", but it isn't a 1:1:1 ratio at all, rather it's 1 Iron Ingot (144 mB), 1 Emerald (~640 mB) and 80 mB of Blood.
Edit -- Oh, one more suggestion popped to mind: What's your take on the power level of Steel as a material? I'm sure this mod is often run alongside RailCraft and other Steel-adding mods (including ones with absurdly simple recipes, like Calclavia's MFFS), where acquiring Steel can be quite easy. I know that finding a few Steel Ingots in a village blacksmith chest is a Tinker's Construct bonanza, letting me jump right to Obsidian mining and Alumite virtually right out the gates. I might suggest keeping its Durability and Mining Speed high, even bump up its Handle Multiplier, but reduce its Mining Level to Redstone?

I'm confused with people's issues with aluminum. Other than the fact that it took me a long time to find some, I've used it ok. Smelting it with copper into aluminum brass and then making casts works out fine.
I did start out with gold casts, but since that seemed to use 2 ingots of gold for a cast versus 1 ingot of aluminum brass I've been sticking with the brass. I did use some that I found to make alumite.
mDiyo, would you ever consider doing fishing rods? Just curious, not a request; otherwise I'd use the request thread.

Also, I've flipped shovel textures for Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC for a more realistic-looking animation, check here: http://www.minecraft...hovel-textures/

What issues are people having with it?
If you pour aluminum into a casting basin to make a block, then try to get ingots out of the block, it gives raw aluminum which is entirely useless.
Thought I would report this as ive not seen this issue reported elsewhere, this may or may not be TiC at fault but I feel its worth stating.
Im currently having a bit of an issue with the smeltery, in that if i use it my fps starts to stutter, im normally on around 150fps but as soon as i use the smeltery (and by use I mean add some ore to it) my fps starts to flick between 120fps and 150fps, now the weird thing is if i log out and back in again the problem is gone.
This is part of a rather large modpack (personal) which contains a rather silly number of mods so it could be that, I have yet to test it with just TiC but may do so shortly, for now I can deal with the logging out to fix it as im not using it heavily.
oh and using version TConstruct_mc1.6.4_1.5.2.2.
Are you using seared glass in your smeltery? I've noticed some z-fighting. If you need to observe your excess villagers melting down into liquid emerald as a tribute to mDiyo's genius subversion of vanilla mechanics simply build an observation platform.

I spent most of my dough on booze, boats and broads. The rest of it, I wasted.

Question, what's the difference between the extended drawbridge and the normal one? Also, the GUI with the arrows doesn't seem to do anything. Some info on tmechworks would be fine (also, dynamos?).
With all due respect, as that message currently stands it is simply a smear campaign forced on all users every time they want to play their game. We get it, you hate Greg, but for our communities sake just stop.
Honestly dude, I SUPPORT mDiyo for using this method for communicating that Gregtech cannot be supported or compatible. Quite frankly other authors including gregorious take a different approach (for history, forestry, other mods bickering and crashing/corrupting worlds, etc).
At least he isn't wasting his coding time putting in retarded code, or wasting his user's time by making their worlds disappear or worse. I like the fact that he is pointing out GT's incorrect usage of the Ore Dictionary, that GT forcibly crashes people's games, etc. If anything I don't see why you're griping at mDiyo for a generally constructive and non-destructive approach to the matter, instead of losing (imho) his professional coding integrity by making the game act in a way that the user doesn't like.
Kodos to you, mDiyo, for stepping above the poor coding practices that I've seen commonly occur in the modding dev community.

1. The tinker table setup mDiyo was testing is now public
2. Exo-Armor has a recipe (lots of bronze) and is modifiable, though only in the tinker table
Currently testing further, and proceeding as fast as i can toward making a smeltery to test out more goodies.
I may or may not play GT. I also might be playing it with TiC. Some Metallurgy and ExtraTiC could be in the mix too. I might have also dropped in some TE as well. Some AE and BC could possibly be on the list. And I maybe- just maybe - there's NEI to assist in short-term memory loss that I may or may not have.

Also, diamonds can be combined with the exo-gear in the crafting station to add up to +50% attack power per piece.
I want to see some throwing weapon love. Stackable throwing weapons like stacking throwing daggers, shurikens and the like. Then returning throwing weapons like a boomerang and chakra. Right now having a few daggers is more hassle than its worth.
And I'm surprised there's not armor yet that I can piece together.

Where did this wood armor come from?
Are the only valid slots on the additional character sheet tab the heart canister slot and the knapsack slot?
Bug: The knapsack tab doesn't open up when a new game is started until the additional character sheet tab is visited first.
