so after i updated Thermal expansion and tinkers right now i cant seem to triple my cobalt and ardite in the induction smelter anymore. im not sure if that's intentional or someone missed it when updating their mod. i updated from TC 1.5.2.1 to 1.5.2.4 if that helps.
Edit: forgot to mention when using the cinnabar from thermal expansion no longer triples.
Question has been answered in the TE thread. Never mind.
I tried to place a Seared Brick in the Nether (I have a enderman farm and wanted to smelt down the chests full of ender pearls into blocks) and my game immedately crashed with the following error:

I then tried to load my world which crashed immediately and now it it not appearing on my "Select World" screen. The files for it seem to still be in my saves folder (not sure if there is a missing file as I am not aquainted with what should/should not be there) but they seem to be inaccessable.
I have been running minecraft with Tinkers Construct, Thaumcraft 4, Thaumic Tinkerer, NEI and damage indicators with no problems until now (all mostly upto date). I had not updated any of them before hand either.
So, I decided to try out the modjam mod, moofluids. Kinda cool. I went exploring and quickly found an emerald cow. The thing is I can't seem to remember how to get molten metals from a tank into an ingot cast. I tried a fluiduct from a tank into the back of a drain with a faucet and it takes it out of the tank ok but I can't get any metal to pour.
I tried searching the thread, because I remember seeing a set up that works, but I couldn't find it. Does anyone remember how to get it to work, or have a link to the video showing how it's done?
When I put nine pieces of raw aluminum in a Crafting table as if I was going to make a Block, I get A block with the Name Block of resonant ender and the texture of a block of cobalt and the Block Id 1478:11 Which, according to NEI doesn't exist.
If you want to get a block of a TConstruct metal, you have to smelt it down in the smeltery and pour it into a casting basin. Raw aluminum is the useless product you get if you try smelting aluminum in a vanilla furnace. Put all your raw aluminum in the smeltery so you can pour it out into ingots or blocks. Just keep in mind it doesn't make tools

Also, I've flipped shovel textures for Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC for a more realistic-looking animation, check here: http://www.minecraft...hovel-textures/

Just hook up your fluiduct directly to the casting table with the gem cast on it. This works for Extra Utilities' Liquid Transfer Nodes, and should work for Fluiducts. You may have to hit the fluiduct with something, though. I'm not entirely sure on that part.

Is there anything I can do to restore my world?
You should install the latest version of TiC, if that doesn't work, open your world in MCedit and delete the smeltery.
heyyy so this question has probably been already asked, but how do i pour liquid metal from the smealtery into a table? Ive filled the smealtery with liquid aluminum, and i have drains set up in a couple different places, but it wont pour? ive tried right clicking eeeeeverything but i just cant get it to work. What am i doing wrong?

Did you make sure the drains are facing the correct direction, small hole out, large hole in, and attach a seared faucet to the drains?

Heh. It works, thanks. I put a fluiduct on the bottom of the portable tank (an important step on that tank) and then put a seared faucet on the end of the fluiduct and the casting table under it with the gem cast. Clicked the faucet and it works.
Someone help me out please.
I seem to be getting a problem when making a hammer. I'll provide a screenshot, but when i put all the parts needed into it, it does not give me a hammer. http://gyazo.com/187...45f06150e98ba91
^the screenshot
It's working fine for me, probably a mod conflict.
OK thanks. Just upgraded to 1.5.2.4 and it didn't help.
Hmmm. . . I wonder where to look. I have 70 mods. . . lol
ExtraTiC is a little behind versions. . .
Metallurgy?
Time to start a test instance I guess.. . .
EDIT:
Just tested Tinkers Construct version 1.5.0d13 with most of my major mods before adding Metallurgy and ExtraTiC. The lumber axe works.
The version not working for me is when I add the rest of my more minor mods, as well as either TC1.5.2.2 or 1.5.2.4 with TC Mecworks 0.1.2, Metallurgy 3.3.1, and Extra TIC 0.7.1.
if you can confirm that the lumber axe working for you under that combination, it will help me move in a better direction.
o after i updated Thermal expansion and tinkers right now i cant seem to triple my cobalt and ardite in the induction smelter anymore. im not sure if that's intentional or someone missed it when updating their mod. i updated from TC 1.5.2.1 to 1.5.2.4 if that helps.

Is there anything I can do to restore my world?
I tried searching the thread, because I remember seeing a set up that works, but I couldn't find it. Does anyone remember how to get it to work, or have a link to the video showing how it's done?
If you want to get a block of a TConstruct metal, you have to smelt it down in the smeltery and pour it into a casting basin. Raw aluminum is the useless product you get if you try smelting aluminum in a vanilla furnace. Put all your raw aluminum in the smeltery so you can pour it out into ingots or blocks. Just keep in mind it doesn't make tools
Also, I've flipped shovel textures for Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC for a more realistic-looking animation, check here:
http://www.minecraft...hovel-textures/
Just hook up your fluiduct directly to the casting table with the gem cast on it. This works for Extra Utilities' Liquid Transfer Nodes, and should work for Fluiducts. You may have to hit the fluiduct with something, though. I'm not entirely sure on that part.
You should install the latest version of TiC, if that doesn't work, open your world in MCedit and delete the smeltery.
Did you make sure the drains are facing the correct direction, small hole out, large hole in, and attach a seared faucet to the drains?
bah doesnt work .. sorry for butting into forum
Heh. It works, thanks. I put a fluiduct on the bottom of the portable tank (an important step on that tank) and then put a seared faucet on the end of the fluiduct and the casting table under it with the gem cast. Clicked the faucet and it works.
You need a Tough Rod, not a normal Rod
In creative mode, the lumber axe destroys all wood blocks all the way up a tree without dropping any. Which is normal I believe.
In survival mode, on the same type of tree, it just acts like a normal axe.
The latest version changes nothing and since my world does not register as a world neither Minecraft nor MCEdit allow me to access it.
This topic doesn't have much information on it.
Yep, those are the ones I've got in my Resonant Rise instance, been chopping down 2X2 jungle trees with my trusty Applejack.
Thanks
Time to start shuffling things around again. That axe is half the reason I got the mod. Didn't quite want to go as far as treecapitator.
I think my first suspect is Multimine. Gonna go update it.
UPDATE:
It was multi mine. And AtomicStryker's update had already fixed it by the time I realized. . . lol
