samiesaurus: You have one mod or another altering things in a way they should not be. Go in-game, press f3+c for 6 seconds, and paste the log on this thread.
Zurxees: Bugs are welcome here, on github, or on IRC.
JordanTomMoores: There is a framework for armor modifiers and the mod is open source. I won't be adding anything myself and some of the other devs aren't too enthused about it either. Still, anyone is free to add it themselves. :3
Sunconure11: We don't take MCPC related crashes. MCPC would be happy to take them however.
TheFireRodan: Making bows flat would fix the issue, yes. I'm considering doing just that.
NullMagic1: We won't take crash reports relating to bukkit. Try reporting the problem on MCPC+ or BukkitForge or whatever flavor of Bukkit you have and use MCEdit to remove all of the dagger entities in the problem area.
Thank you MDiyo, that was actually quite helpful, after a bit of tinkering I did manage to get all of them and it's working fine now, however I've still no idea what exactly caused this problem.
Might I ask what makes you conclude that this crash report is "relating to Bukkit"? While we have Bukkit installed the crash seems to indicate that it's a Tinker's Construct problem, and I'd like to be sure it's not before I got to their devs and they tell me "Sorry, this is a Tinker's Construct problem, go bug them about it"
There are a few bukkit plugins floating around, most of them old, that tend to break TConstruct tools by stripping them of their data. I've caught most of the instances where that breaks items or worlds or wherever; you managed to find a new one.
I have some melee weapons that I enhanced by a couple of stacks of quartz, but I don't get the full promised damage boost on them. For example: A weapon with a base damage of 4, I add 3x 72 quartz (should add 3x 1.5 so 4.5) making a total of 8.5, But the weapon has a damage of 7.5. How is this possible?
I don't know if this has been said cause i don't want to read all the posts but my minecraft crashes when i try to make the material i want in the smelter go to the bottom or where i can use it in the smeltry controller and is there a post on when new bug fix will be released?I don't know if this has been said cause i don't want to read all the posts but my minecraft crashes when i try to make the material i want in the smelter go to the bottom or where i can use it in the smeltry controller and is there a post on when new bug fix will be released?I don't know if this has been said cause i don't want to read all the posts but my minecraft crashes when i try to make the material i want in the smelter go to the bottom or where i can use it in the smeltry controller and is there a post on when new bug fix will be released?

As you add more quartz upgrades, they get less effective. Right now, it loses 0.5 for the 2nd upgrade, 1.0 for the 3rd, etc.

I may or may not play GT. I also might be playing it with TiC. Some Metallurgy and ExtraTiC could be in the mix too. I might have also dropped in some TE as well. Some AE and BC could possibly be on the list. And I maybe- just maybe - there's NEI to assist in short-term memory loss that I may or may not have.
One other thing to remember with upgrades is that melee weapons act differently based on their damage calibur. For instance, a Broadsword, with a "Moderate" damage calibur, will receive less of a boost from the full Quartz upgrade than a Cleaver, which has a "High" damage calibur.
The crafting recipes and other information for the Exo-suit are not on any wiki yet. What all can it do? If it is modular like the rest of the mod it would be very interesting to compare with the Modular Power Suites Mod.

If regular is Vanilla then what flavor is your Minecraft?

It's not as advanced as the Modular Power Suits Mod, but it has a few addons - go on #TinkersConstruct on irc.esper.net and ask the people on there about more info of the exo-suit.
I, like many others, play in survival mode. I would have to use up precious resources to make one. I would like to know what it does exactly before I commit resources to make it! I am sure I am not the only person who thinks the same way.
Nothing's stopping you from doing a little super fun fun creative testing~

Well, by the end of THAT post, it had been said twice already...

Also, I've flipped shovel textures for Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC for a more realistic-looking animation, check here: http://www.minecraft...hovel-textures/
More then half of the mod is useless without aluminum, why would you disable it? Also, you can't disable any ore in TCon I don't think.
You don't need Aluminum at all, actually. And the configs have options to disable all TCon ores from spawning including bushes, so it is - or at least, should be - possible to disable any or all of them if one so chooses. I myself have successfully disabled everything except Aluminum (which I would have disabled had I known at the time that it wasn't actually necessary).

I completely forgot that gold can be used as a substitute. But what is the point of having the mod if you disable a lot of the core functionality?
Didn't read anything about that, is villager smelting broken in 1.5.3? Do I need something different in the smeltery now? Used to work with one molten ingot of iron, but now it apparently doesn't anymore.
I had a similar problem but restarting my server fixed it.
To all those who rudely answered my question about the Advanced and Extended drawbridges, including mDiyo, my question was a legitimate one. I do use NEI, NEI only shows how to craft it, it does not tell you what it does! So pointing out NEI to me as an answer was totally pointless!
mDiyo, you suggested I just place the block and find out. Very poor response :/ I, like many others, play in survival mode. I would have to use up precious resources to make one. I would like to know what it does exactly before I commit resources to make it! I am sure I am not the only person who thinks the same way.
I am a fan of this mod but am sadly very disappointed at your attitude towards a legitimate question.
Write proper documentation for all the blocks you provide and you would not get questions like mine that obviously you are intolerable towards!
So, instead of spending a few minutes in creative mode to try it out and see what it does, you felt that writing three paragraphs to complain about it was a better use of your time?
It's a drawbridge. If you can't figure it out inside 5 minutes, then you have more serious problems to deal with.

Thanks that explains a lot. What are the best alternatives to make a weapon do more damage?

If the configs are set to not generate Aluminum and it's spawning anyway, that's almost certainly a bug.
