Of course the bows are underpowered. They're based roughly on vanilla bows and the arrows are the ones doing damage. You want better damage? Put some quartz on what you're shooting. ^^;;

But, I downloaded this mod when I had already started a survival.. but I didn't go to the nether before after downloading the mod. There's different ore veins in the nether, but not in the overworld? Is that to do with the ores in the overworld being a little hard to find, or is it that they're just not there..?
The new ore will show up when you get to areas that you hadn't already rendered. Since you never went to the nether it rendered from the beginning with the new ore.
I just popped in Metallurgy 3 for MC 1.6.4 and I'm using Tinker's Construct 1.6.4
The metals from M3 worked fine in the TC Smeltery. I haven't tried creating tools with these metals. Am I right in guessing the M3 metals should work with the Tool Forge and etc? More importantly, I notice the names for the Metallurgy stuff says Tin_name. The same goes for the other ores.
How can I best clean this up? I haven't played with the config files for Metallurgy. I've also notice the diamond armor appeared to have changed. What happened? I'm planning on adding Underground Biomes Construct.

Hey, i tried melting some stone plates to make some seared stone, however, they never melt (they always get stuck at max heat but never melt). Is this intended?

I'm still baffled by M3 seemingly screwing up the texture for my diamond armor and tools. The same thing happened to the gold armor and tools. I did post a message about this on the Metallurgy thread. From what I could tell, I downloaded the right two files.

Erm....owie....so many mods loaded...I'm shocked that this is the only issue you've had so far. It's a miracle that nothing else has gone wrong. Sorry, but I haven't the slightest idea what could be causing it without looking at the full Dev console log. Even then, it may be something fairly obscure.
Don't know if i'll even get a response on this, but does anyone know of a version of this mod which is entirely compatible with MCPatcher? because i've tried installing with MCForge, and it refuses to work(mainly because Forge itself refuses to install properly). If not, would somebody who is more tech savvy than me (perhaps the mod creator?) be willing to create a version that works with MCPatcher?
It would be a HUGE help to me, I love this mod, but wish it were more...accessible(?).

Forgot to mention, that this crash happens when I click on either "TConstruct Tools" tab or the "Search Items" tab. Everything else with each of the mods-tab and NEI works fine as far as I can see..
i have the problem that i cant make iron ingots with the molten iron that i have into the smelteryat the same i cant smelt iron ingots only iron ores.¿is a bug?

after some tinkering (hehe) around with my mods, it seems to be IC2 preventing iron from working right
Wonder of wonders, I noticed that the FTB pack didn't have this problem at all, so I tried updating my IC2 to the same experiemental build that Direwolf20's FTB uses to see if that fixed it...and it doesn't!, but that lead me in another direction. It seems if you include the CoFHCore-2.0.0.2.jar that is part of Thermal Expansion, that casting and smelting iron ingots works again with IC2 installed, you don't even need to run all of TE if you don't want to.

Nether ores are only found in the nether. They aren't in the overworld or anywhere else.
SkaipisLT: Looks like we fixed a teensy bit of the lag without fixing the rest of the problem. Unfortunately, it still doesn't lag on my computer so I can't test it properly. >.<
EverRunes: The chisel is the only one that overrides getContainerItem(). Perhaps that's what is fouling up the system?
AceTurn: Hammers not breaking thaumcraft blocks properly is a bug. It's hard to tell exactly which side they're on. I'll prod Azanor about it later and see what we can do.
Gecko357: There are three possibilities: Your jar is corrupted, another mod is messing with tool types and not replacing them properly, or... well, the third is much less friendly. I suggest you redownload the mod, try messing with the amount of mods you have, and see what comes of it.
FireH4zard: MCPatcher should never be used with Forge for any reason.
Even though you said Natura and Tinkers Construct should be used together for the best Experience, there is nothing that actually connects the two. I think it would be pretty cool if you could make tools out of the wood in Natura (and maybe even out of the normal wood (spruce would could look darker etc.) I mean it would look cool, but it isn't really important) to actually have something connecting these two mods. However thats just a suggestion.
I think Natura adds in the various Gravel-ores, so having Natura installed is what gives Aluminum-Gravel ore, for instance. I could be way off, but I'm pretty sure that's the case.

How do the Thaumic and Tasty modifiers affect your Weapons?
Using Thaumium as part of a tool or weapon gives it the Thaumic keyword, which acts just like the Writable keyword: it gives you an additional modifier slot, per part made with Thaumium. The benefit of it is that Thaumium has a higher durability, mining speed, etc. over paper.
I don't think mDiyo has actually released anything saying what the Tasty keyword does.

Use your Google-fu and find out how to setup a server. Then, use your common-sense-fu and add these mods onto your server, just like you would for your single-player game.
Again, Google is your friend and would be faster than someone on here trying to explain it to you (since it's already been explained somewhere on the internet, anyway.)

It would be a HUGE help to me, I love this mod, but wish it were more...accessible(?).
Forgot to mention, that this crash happens when I click on either "TConstruct Tools" tab or the "Search Items" tab. Everything else with each of the mods-tab and NEI works fine as far as I can see..
after some tinkering (hehe) around with my mods, it seems to be IC2 preventing iron from working right
Wonder of wonders, I noticed that the FTB pack didn't have this problem at all, so I tried updating my IC2 to the same experiemental build that Direwolf20's FTB uses to see if that fixed it...and it doesn't!, but that lead me in another direction. It seems if you include the CoFHCore-2.0.0.2.jar that is part of Thermal Expansion, that casting and smelting iron ingots works again with IC2 installed, you don't even need to run all of TE if you don't want to.

Curse PremiumNether ores are only found in the nether. They aren't in the overworld or anywhere else.
SkaipisLT: Looks like we fixed a teensy bit of the lag without fixing the rest of the problem. Unfortunately, it still doesn't lag on my computer so I can't test it properly. >.<
EverRunes: The chisel is the only one that overrides getContainerItem(). Perhaps that's what is fouling up the system?
AceTurn: Hammers not breaking thaumcraft blocks properly is a bug. It's hard to tell exactly which side they're on. I'll prod Azanor about it later and see what we can do.
Gecko357: There are three possibilities: Your jar is corrupted, another mod is messing with tool types and not replacing them properly, or... well, the third is much less friendly. I suggest you redownload the mod, try messing with the amount of mods you have, and see what comes of it.
FireH4zard: MCPatcher should never be used with Forge for any reason.
m2pt5: Where did 0.1.4 for Mechworks go? Mmm...

I think Natura adds in the various Gravel-ores, so having Natura installed is what gives Aluminum-Gravel ore, for instance. I could be way off, but I'm pretty sure that's the case.
Using Thaumium as part of a tool or weapon gives it the Thaumic keyword, which acts just like the Writable keyword: it gives you an additional modifier slot, per part made with Thaumium. The benefit of it is that Thaumium has a higher durability, mining speed, etc. over paper.
I don't think mDiyo has actually released anything saying what the Tasty keyword does.
Use your Google-fu and find out how to setup a server. Then, use your common-sense-fu and add these mods onto your server, just like you would for your single-player game.
Again, Google is your friend and would be faster than someone on here trying to explain it to you (since it's already been explained somewhere on the internet, anyway.)
