I once hated this mod for being really advanced, but I finally managed to work past my mental block with it to find that it's not that hard. My only gripe is that I run out of inventory space while Vein Mining for the stuff to make the Seared Bricks, and that's just me.
Love the mod for the Unbreakable Pickaxe and that I can make any tool with three components or more unbreakable.
I also love the Drying Racks and was wondering if, and I know this is a long shot of an if, it was possible to get a stand alone mod of those Drying Racks.

I can't seem to melt down entities, or get blood. I tried attacking various types of mobs in a smelter, and nothing happened. Also, I put villagers and in the smelter, and even melted down some iron in it and still nothing happened.

Please leave the extra armor gui slots in. It gives people like me the (farfetched) dream of making our own add-on to tic that fills in thoes missing items.

Im not talking about the one from Tinker's Construct. Im talking about the mod that adds the Big Backpacks that you can dye different colors. If you're talking about the same mod Im thinking of, then I retract my reminder of which mod and replace it with I'll have to go check it out for sure.
Lazy_lizard: If gravel ores can't be harvested by other mods, then those other mods are not registering their shovels like they do pickaxes. You should ask each author to do so.

All you need is Ender IO (Capacitor Bank) or any machine from TE3 to recharge it (with my tutorial, because I used a Leadstone Flux Capacitor - for IC2 you need one RE Battery + one Electronic Circuit). One hit costs 24 RF, so a full charged weapon of this can take 16 666 hits before you need to recharge it. And believe me: 400 000 RF are nothing. But even if: 16 666 hits will produce a damage of 533 333 points in summary (until need to recharge) or 26 666 hearts.
Please note: At least, you need a Tuberous Flux Capacitor and at max. a Leadstone Flux Capacitor. Bigger Capacitors will work too, but would be a waste, because max. 400k RF will get included. This means:
A Tuberous Flux Capacitor includes 16k RF. Cheapest but you only get 16k of 400k loaded after crafting. Don't get me wrong: You can afterwards fully charge it to 400k!

this may have been asked earlier. in the newer version of TC i'm not able to pour vanilla metals into a ingot cast on my smeltery, do anyone is having this issue too?
ok, so i had TC working with optifine before but I just did an update for my mods and now I keep getting a crash, I even took TC and optifine back to versions that were working together but I am still getting the same crash report. I know that the report said not to report this crash but I just wanted to see if anyone else was able to get the lastest version of TC to work with optifine HDC8.
The only reason I use adf.ly is because I need the paltry sum to pay my electricity. The amount I get is around 50 USD. If that amount of money is deposited in this paypal link within the next 72 hours, I will remove the adf.ly link for a month. Hello, my smeltery controller is reporting an invalid structure. I have a correctly built smeltery, but the controller will not allow insertion of items. I am using the latest push for FTB monster.
@Manan6619: Additional to mDiyo i can say: Better World Generation 4 maybe tries to spawn a village, including a smeltery. For some reason BWG4 can't manage it and will cause your game to crash.
Interesting. I wonder if that's right, and if it was just a village smeltery, or if it was just a TiC block being generated in the world in general(I made a superflat preset with grout and slimy mud in the generation). I'll post the crashlog in the BWG4 thread. Thanks.
