If you are talking about Iron, try updating your IC2 experimental version back to before he removed Refined Iron. If you are not talking about Iron, then try getting the latest (stable) version of IC2 experimental. -nods-
This worked(the first part about refined iron and going back to build 306 for anyone watching or searching) , thank you undrhil!
I found your bug report and added note to it on IC2
Click on the one you want to pour and it will move to the bottom, have to admit that should be listed in one of the books somewhere, I wouldn't know you could move things around in there by clicking on them if I hadn't seen the Yogscast do it.
First thing i tried doing, did not work for me, im using hexxit 1.0.10
Alright, I wouldn't be posting if I didn't seriously need help. I need to make glue, and yes, I have kicked a horse into my active smeltery, but the horse is just sitting there "neighing" and not dieing. I've googled "how to make glue in tinkers construct" and "tinkers construct horse glue" and "tinkers construct glue" and many many other phrases trying to find a tutorial or guide to do this, I've also used the search bar on the forums here and all it comes up with are useless posts about people telling other people to put a horse in a smeltery, which is not working. I've literally spent about 2 hours looking for information.
I'm using the Direwolf20 1.6.4 pack version 1.0.3 which is using Tinkers Construct version 1.5.2.1.
Some speedy help would be very much appreciated as I cannot continue recording my let's play for youtube without glue because I require glue to make rubber for some reason. It won't let me make sticky resin into rubber without the extractor. I'm going to assume this is something gregtech has modified which seems to be a literal pain in the az at the moment. (and yes I added gregtech to direwolf's 1.6.4 pack because I enjoy have a long time game experience.)
I haven't tried this myself, because I can't bring myself to shove any horses into the smeltery, but I read a few pages back that someone else had this problem and it was solved by putting an ingot into the smeltery and melting it. I guess you need a hot liquid in the smeltery for the action to trigger for horses and villagers.

Tinkers Construct does not, and never will, support gregtech. Remove it, then see if you are still having this bug.

I believe you need to have something already in the smeltery for entities to take damage from it.

Thanks, but didn't work. I smelted about 4 stacks of aluminum in the smeltery in my test world and the horse is pretty much drowning in molten metal but still not dieing.

Removed gregtech and went to a new world, nope. still no go, horse will still not melt. In fact, I remember in previous versions the player took damage too, but even I don't take damage in the smeltery.
Is there a setting in a config somewhere that removes smeltery damage or something? I couldn't find it if there is.
The not being able to smelt resin into rubber is definitely a gregtech modification though, without it in I can smelt the resin into rubber again. Kind of weird that gregtech would force you to use TC to use industrial craft though. =/
[edit] Stuck gregtech back in and went back to my world and the horse started dieing and made some glue. I guess I just need to restart my game every time I want an entity to take damage in the smeltery?

You have let the smeltery kill the mobs. Simply melt down anything that will melt, and push the mob in. Emptying your inventory and jumping in yourself works too.
Upgrading to a newer forge version may help your FPS. Forge has semi-recently optimized its code, so Optifine shouldn't be nessesary, and you might even get better FPS without it.
I use optifine HD C6, and can run tinkers fine.( though my computer has a terribad integrated graphics card, which is what makes optifine necessary, your results will probably vary.)

It probably has something to to with OpenGL level or something silly like that.

According to their changelog the version of T-Con included is a much older version of the mod, so I can only guess the ability to move metals around in the smeltery wasn't added in that version, not positive mind you, looking over the changelogs I can't seem to find anything about how long that feature has been incorporated.
spamenigma: Go prod the other mod about it. There's nothing special we're doing that would cause duplication bugs like that.
Jebbuh: Lava bucket ho!
Cademead: I didn't realize that was in a public build... the Exosuit is a placeholder so that I have something to attach modifiers to. When it's ready, it will have a recipe.
MrJoBe: Update TConstruct.
Radgast: You could pour the metal into a tank and then back in later?
DeadL0cust: It's getting to the point where we're not going to be supporting IC2 anymore. Too many changes and not in a good direction...
Grey_Ghost_8765k: Unitype words. Aside from the words trailing off the book (which is a bug), it's there to provide more words than the default font has.
Dee_Twenty: Modpack authors are the ones responsible for updating their mods and supporting them. Direct anything related to "Hexxit" at Hexxit and "FTB" at FTB.
Horizon is a modpack compiled by Jaded and Slowpoke for the smaller mods to shine out to the community, unleashed will never be updated according to slowpoke - and Horizon is not just "random new-to-FTB mods". Seriously.
Ultimate was never to be updated, or to be renamed in later versions. It was considered to CPU-Intensive and used lots of RAM, so they cut that out because of it, to fit with what most of the people's specs are.
Um, it specifically says on the wiki that FTB Horizons is "a collection of new to Minecraft mods". So, it's basically a compilitation of random, relatively new mods. And just so no one thinks I'm taking sides with Dee_Twenty: You're BOTH wrong!
I found an annoying bug. Whenever i sprint, my field of view doesn't change a little like it's supposed to. Now I can't really tell if I'm sprinting or not and I am positive T con is the cause of this. I searched the whole config and couldn't find anything to help. Anyone else getting this problem?

Every time I see it in a lets play video etcetera, it looks perfectly fine on their screen. On mine it looks like the windows font without ClearType.
Thank you for everything you do

Or it being a 2006ish laptop, which gets 3-15 fps with less then 50% ram usage, and less then 50-70% cpu usage, thus being a bit of a oddball.

This is a mini-mod that LexManos wrote to fix a bug in FML. Load order should be the same on both client and server with this.
Cilicou: If the extended drawbridge only places 16 blocks, it's a bug. It's supposed to place 64.
Brapalx, Tohclank, bbq102: The Smeltery needs a bit of fluid in it to get started.
Perhaps I should remove this? Just push things in and let's kill them all the time. >
brokenxnote: Sorry, it's levitation attachments ^^;;

Anyway, back to discussing TConstruct...
I'm liking how TE3 is working out been watching ole direwolf's S6 let's play to get some ideas.
