Hello, I just hit a bug with the smeltery that crashed my world and i cannot get back in. Im hoping there's a hotfix for what i did. I was pumping molten iron into my smeltery to make some iron blocks and the molten iron was more than the smeltery could hold. So when it (the molten iron) reached the top edge of the inside of the smeltery, the game crashed. Is there already a fix i dont know about? (because surely im not the first one to overflow his smeltery) LOL.... Anyway, any insight appreciated, thank you.
sondrex76: The error log points at IC2. You might want to report it over there.
whre? i dont know where to put the crash, cant find player or any of the other ic2 devs anywhere (well i find greg but i dont think its him i should report it to)

Hey mDiyo, just wanted to give some some positive feedback: you're awesome. Honestly this is one of the absolute best mods to play with because it balances so many factors so well. You have added awesome stuff that is fun to work with and a realistic mechanic (smeltery) that does not fail to provide enjoyment and entertainment. Whatever you do with this mod, there's a good chance that it will have my "stamp of approval" so my only request is to keep doing what you doing. Thanks for making the effort to respond to as many people as possible (who deserve it)!
And I am pretty stoked for your future mod(s) that you have been hinting at.
Love this mod!!!
I need help though. How do I disable gravel ores? I see them all over the landscape and I dont want them there. I tried looking for gravel ores in the config file but I cant find anything? Is it called surface ores? And how do I disable them?
Is this the line I need to edit? I:"Iron Surface Rarity"=55400
So I'm throwing together a 'nuclear winter' modpack (Personal use only of course.) and this mod just had to go in, I'm having issues though on making slime crystals as even when using the recipes in materials and you volume two do nothing in the crafting table. (OR the crafting station, not sure if that came from a different mod though.) so I can't make slimey mud or slime crystals... and I got a LOT of slime from one of those floating slime islands. <.=.< I've been searching the internet for a little bit but it's coming up with nothing but recipes in outdated wiki stub articals. Can't use NEI to look it up ether, keeps crashing for who knows what reason. =/
I'm on the latest stable build, 1.4.5.1 so unless it was an un-numbered hotfix I can't update any more as far as I can see. I can't update to 1.4.6 ether unfortunately. Am I just stuck until the other mods update?
Hydrogen: Until samrg does something public with MFR, I'm not going to do a thing. You can delete the "plugins" folder from the jar in the meantime.
could you define "something public" then?
in my book it's "something public" right NOW given it's a: in the source and b: already being published in the builds.
The latest dev version should fix the problems with villages. It's actually a 1.6.X download, but I can't rightly call it that when the stable is tied to 1.6.4.
BlunderingFool: ID conflicts are likely if you can't craft them with the version you have now.
scottz657: Care to point me at a link for support on those texture packs?
samrg472: Public as in a playable build linked outside of an auto-build system. Care to point me at your forum post?
I have a few questions. Forgive me if this has been covered, having net problems. Also, I'm using the 1.5.X version as used on zephyr unleashed.com now. Posting from my phone. With stone bound and splinter effect, more damaged equals more speed or attack. Will a tool with two durability points out of 1000 be better/faster than one with two points out of 100? The other is, will adding two cactus parts give the weapon more damage when worn out? Will try to test these, but net its so bad I can't even authenticate my login. Thanks for any assistance. Cheers!
(ask dire to lend you his wand of equal trade, when you want to clean that up )
EDIT: i have reported it to ic2 now.

Laton95: The drying rack is acting a bit weird atm.
BlunderingFool: There were a few updates with no recipes for the congealed slime. Perhaps you have one of those?

I must ask, public as in what? It's already on GitHub, Jenkins, and in my channel topic, none of which are private
