I've been wondering about making a compatibility mod for computer craft that will add a slot for tools instead of crafting it into position and making the "turtle.dig()" command take the appropriate amount of time for the tool in the slot and damage the tool - thus making a turtle more like an Auto Steve than an eternal machine.
Also there would be a tinker table peripheral (if Tinkers Construct is installed) that would allow you to program automatic addition of modifiers/ingots for repair.
I have yet to make any mods so I don't know how good I'll be, but I do want to try and this seem as good a mod as any to start on.
We do not plan on implementing turtle support until we feel that it is feasible to do so at the moment we are unable to do some incompatibilites between how our tools function, and what Computer Craft expects.
if you want automation feel free to use buildcraft tools until we are able to add this.
ALL of the Tinkers Construct devs are interested in this support. we would love to have maxed out hammer turtles running around, repairing themselves, and mining out entire dimensions. We use and love the quarry programs as much as the next guy.
I apologize once again, if this is an inconvenience but there is no way for us to do this at the current time.
if or when the necessary mechanics are added to vanilla computercraft we will gladly add in the support to use our tools with it ourselves.
Hate to be a bother but just discover a duplication bug with your crafting station. If you have a way to access the inventory (ie the backpack mod and others you can do this) you can pull out the product without using any items up. I made a video demoing what to do to accomplish this.

Wanted to ask if there'll ever be CTM for the clear and colored panes? (They work the same way blocks do even though they've got different models so was just curious)

Totally understandable, you do allot of very interesting things with TC, but those same things are not always supported by other mods and so...that is life. I look forward to the day though that I can give my turtle a Silky Electric Cobalt pick and tell it to mine away. Till then, keep up the good work.
This is the line you're looking for in the config to disable the Nitro Creepers:

Yeah, I can't find that anywhere in either Natura.txt or TinkersWorkshop.txt. I can configure how many heat spiders spawn on death of mommy, but there's nothing there for Creepers. Dammit this sucks. I'm on 1.5.2, not using any modpacks. Downloaded this and Natura just a couple nights ago.

that option was from a very old version of tinkers. lines from configs are not removed after they are made obsolete. the nitro creepers are in natura not in tinkers.
Alright, so I don't know if this was reported or it was just an error on my part, but I after I made a heart container and put it on, instead of just adding one heart per container, my health bar just kept going up and up. At one point, the game started acting like I was getting hurt every time the health went up. And it continued to do so after I took the single container out. Other than that, everything is working just fine. So, just thought to mention. It may just be a compatibility issue with something or other that I have installed alongside Tinker's. Have a nice day c:
So the Drying Rack. Great idea! But I'm wondering if you nerfed the speed of it's function. I've had about 4 of them sitting there will stuff on them for 15 minutes and nothing has happened.
Perhaps you could speed them up if you had a fire block (from an igniter or something else) two blocks below the rack?
Not exactly that big of a bug, but on the "Slime Islands" in the sky a Blue Slime will randomly spawn from the Liquid Slime lake (or any Liquid Slime, for that matter). I'm sure that is on purpose, but they still spawn even on Peaceful difficulty (and immediately despawn afterwards, much like Mob Spawners used to do).
I have a few other mods normally, so I tried isolating it and still got this result. Given the nature of the mod, this looks like an honest overlooking of sorts. Nothing major, but it can get annoying when mining all the Congealed Slime near the lake.
I appear to be having a problem in which I crash every time I load the chunks at my base. It seems to be a problem with either the drawbridges or the smeltery.

Has anyone been able to get the drying racks to turn flesh into leather? I have tried both the stable and dev versions, and waited for 30+ minutes with both, and nothing happens.

You need to find a slime island to find blue slimes. Slime islands spawn high above ground and contain a liquid slime pool where the blue slimes will spawn. You can also mine the congealed slime around the edges of the pool which you can get slimeballs from through a shapeless recipe, or you can craft slime channels and pads out of them.
Found one in the desert when I used a bucket on the liquid, it collected water. Is this normal? Also, will Silk Touch get all that funky dirt?

Try Sugar and Rotten Flesh in an Induction Smelter.
