Ingot casts are still made in the stencil table in the 1.6.2 dev. Also, this bug has been present for a while, if you put a blank cast/pattern in the stencil table, the patterns/ingot casts will not be make-able unless you press 'Next/Previous Patter' at least once.

...Well then, I just watched someone enchant a TC pickaxe and hammer using the Enchanting+ mod. Thought you might like to know mDiyo.
Just tried it out. It only seems to work when the tool has the enchanted effect. Also putting it back in the table to repair seems to make the tool vanish entirely.
Got to the upgraded tool station, repaired one of my tools, and this time, unlike the wooden tool station, it made sound. It made the vanilla anvil repair sound, however (Pretty sure that previously, TC had its own sound for tool creation and repair).

It would make a lot more sense if a faucet would refuse to fill a cast if there was not enough metal in the smeltery.
Not to sound rude, but it would make less sense if that were the case. It's not a "smart-faucet", it's 3 bricks in a bucket shape. I tend to like the idea of having to do some quick math before I start clicking faucets and loading ingots/ore into my smeltery. If I turn on my water hose outside, it doesn't care if I'm pointing it at my wife's angry face or not, it just pours.
The more control the better imo, it's just that having said control means a little extra foresight on my part is all.

i agree. the mod should not do the work for you.
i've lost lots of ore before but that whats the tooltips in the smeltery are for. they tell us exactly how much material we have.
Pretty sure this isn't suppose to be happening, but with the new Direwolf20 1.5 pack, I upgraded my pick to use energy. That pick should be using energy to mine, but it stays at 10000 EU and doesn't drop down, and neither does my batpack.

Netherbricks are made in vanilla by smelting netherrack into bricks then putting them like normal bricks into a crafting grid.
Ah, sorry, I meant netherrack brick. I'm not talking about the vanilla bricks. These are the ones that take netherrack textures and make them into bricks.
For the record, my publishing of the report isn't to complain that it's broken--rather, it's to say thank you for spending so much of your time developing something that Minecraft so desperately needed, and I feel as though this will help iron out some bugs.
[Description of Crash]
While reading "Mighty Smelting," upon clicking the "next page" button on the page showing the recipe for the Casting Basin, the game crashes, and generates the subsequent crash report (linked thru Dropbox). This has been attempted and confirmed on my system three times.
So, today in the nether I found that TC pickaxes mine glowstone faster, unlike vanilla ones, just like TC axes and leaves... mDiyo, my respect for you gets greater and greater, even with minor details like these

Hi. Great mod and thanks for the hard work making it and stuff but... And you knew there was a 'but' coming right? I'm not sure where to ask this, can I not make iron picks and stuff outside of the smeltery? I when o put an ingot into the tool station or whatever I get the info on what the durability etc is but no actual product (a pick head or tool rod etc).. Is this a bug? I'm playing unleashed or unwhatever one has TC
Help appreciated
Both the OP and the books ingame explain this. If you don't read the OP, changelogs, or ingame books, you're gonna look stupid-like right now. It may seem a bit harsh, but you kind of do; this question has been answered so many times, I'm not even going to answer it. So please, review the past few pages of posts, read the OP, (It's in bold) the changelog in the OP, or the ingame books.
If you're a little newer to this mod, just know that mDiyo will always do something to inform people of things like this, so sometimes it's better to look through a few things first before reporting any 'bugs'.

on the topic of extra health through heart canisters.
vazkii added a brilliant mechanic for an increased health pool in thaumic tinkerer. he added a weapon, that gives you temporary hitpoints, for killing mobs. every time you kill a hostile entity (doesnt work on animals), you gain 1 extra heart in temporary hitpoints. which stacks up to 10 full hearts.
upon taking damage, these temporary hitpoints are consumed first and dont regenerate. if you want them back, you have to kill enemies for it.
just wanted to throw that out there, since i think thats an awesome mechanic, that could work with his mod too.
Hey, I'm curious, you FAQ states:
"Q: But I can't update because of other mods/modpacks! (FTB/RP2)
A: This is a personal choice that I will not cater to. FTB is not updating because of Redpower, and Redpower isn't going to be updated. Either way you're stuck with 1.4.7 forever."
Now this is half-way outdated because of FTB Unleashed and so on, but will this be the same for 1.6? are you converting the mod to 1.6 and then are going to be doing all new development there, or will you continue developing for 1.5.2 a while longer?
Thanks for a great mod!
i think he will release some bug fixes but he cant add armor to 1.5.2 (when he adds it) in the same way he can do it in 1.6 and it is a lot of code changes from the two minecraft versions so i dont think he will make the 1.5 version the same as the 1.6 since that would just take so much time when he begins adding armour and such in 1.6.
Ummm....Care to elaborate what tool? What it's made out of and what parts?
