I've noticed that recently the mining speed of all my tools has decreased an incredible amount. It started when I made an Alumite pick, then added Auto-Repair, Haste, and Luck to it (all fully upgraded). At first it was great -- I was mining through everything! But as time went on, my mining speed got slower and slower. I didn't realize it at first, until days later I went to mine some obsidian and it took me 30 seconds to mine one single block. Confused, I switched to the vanilla diamond pick, and that one took me 45 seconds.
That was when I noticed all my mining speeds reduced. Even my diamond shovel was picking up dirt and gravel at sub-iron speeds. My ticks-per-second are unaffected (all at 20tps). I started a new world to see if I was just imagining things, and nope! everything mines so much faster in it.
Has this happened to anyone else, or am I alone here? This isn't quite a game-breaking bug, but it really does interfere with the enjoyability of it all.

Just stop. mDiyo reads every post, there is NO reason to post the same thing more than once. If it is infact a bug, mDiyo will eventually fix it, if it is a feature, then you MIGHT get a response from mDiyo.

Ok, recently updated from the 1.4dev10 to the 1.4.1.2 and everything seems to be running fine for me, though I do have some questions/issues:
What are all the stats for making arrows and shortbows? There isn't really any explanation about what each material will contribute when it comes to Drawback speed and damage, so I am not sure what I should really make them out of (so far I found that Bone seems to work well with normal bowstring). For arrows, I am not sure what the different felchings does for the arrows and such.
One issue I did notice that I am having a issue with ghost arrows from me hitting a mob with a custom arrow, and also normal bos seem not to be able to use the new arrows.
Also, how do I craft the Essence Crystal? I already have some Essence Bushes and berries, but I can't make the crystals. :\

It's nice to see "that" debate didn't make it over here, and there hasn't been any incivility (as there seems to be on other forums). That being said, I was about to show my support, and found out that your paypal is having issues (paypal is saying there is a problem with the email you supplied them...).

Metallugy works or not, I'm confused. THIS MOD IS AMAZING! really would love to have a Broadsword made of mythril, of a shadow iron cross and a steel holder (?) *-----* This mod is perfect and has a much better system than the one MR is trying to have. does the smeltery also smelt down native ores, that are harvested with the pickaxe of the core? and if yes, how many ingots worth does it produce?

You can still put lava crystals on bows to no effect, but putting blaze powder on arrows works.
I'm not sure if Thaum bow'n'arrow stuff has been textured yet.
Modifiers on bows affect bows, not arrows shot from bows.
The arrows would show up fine in earlier dev versions
