Question, what exactally does the spiny attribute do? Can't find the info in any of the books.
It is basically Stonebound but for Swords. You can find the info in the red book. I think its straight after explaining the different tools and weapons
Then I don't get why I keep on getting nullpointer.exception
First of all you have many overlaping ( conflicts ) IDs causing mostly by Herbology, second if you were able to click start game and then game crashed try to remove your player.dat file.

I removed Herbology. I'll try deleting the player.dat file and try loading it.

So I have a bit of a tricky question, and one I've been struggling with for a few days.
There are a handful of mods that, when installed alongside my other mods (many many of these) AND tinker's construct causes an issue where the game runs fine for maybe 30 seconds, then the frame rate suddenly drops to less than one frame per second. I don't have a crash report because the game doesn't ever seem to properly crash, even when I leave it trying to run for 15+ minutes. Instead I just force quit.
The mods I have found this to be the case with so far are Forestry, Thermal Expansion, and Clay Soldiers. In each case I have the same issue, and in each case removing tinker's construct makes the issue disappear; the game runs just fine. I can even run all three together with the rest of my mod-pack as long as TC isn't installed.
An obvious solution would be to not play with TC but I love this mod very dearly and would weep to see it go from my game. Has anyone else had issues like this? If it's helpful, I can make a list of all the mods I have installed (in case the problem isn't TC and these mods, but TC, these mods, and also a third thing).
found a bug, idk if it has been reported yet so here it is;
you may used blank pattern in place of blank cast in making cast pattern which i believe should be address since it takes more valuable resources to make the blank cast(aluminium brass) than the blank pattern (wood)
sinply have one blank cast, put it in the stencil table, scroll to the desire pattern, grab the blank pattern and click on the blank cast, this should switch the two without changing the outcome pattern. you can grab the desired pattern using the blank pattern. the desired pattern would be made out of aluminium brass not wood, despite the used blank pattern being wood.
You sure this a TC issue and not a permgen issue. I.e. the number of mods not the mod itself. if you are using MultiMC you can use the java arguments section in the instance settings and set "-XX:PermSize=256M" (or whatever number youd like).

Hello! I just want to say fantastic mod! This and Natura are both one of my favorite mods! I was wondering if you could tell me what loot can you find in dungeons from this mod? I'm using the latest dev build (1.3dev.47) and I've looked in mineshafts and strongholds and a few dungeons and haven't found anything from this mod. Is it just really rare items or is no loot from this mod? Also one last thing for Natura, could you possibly add the spawn eggs for the mobs like you did for this mod? Anyways, great job on both mods and thank you! I'm excited to see what comes next
Railcraft 7.2.0.0 and above is breaking Tinker's Construct 1.3 and above's ability to create smeltry, the multiblock structure just do not form. A Structure formed within the influence of Railcraft 7.1.0.0 seems to working after Railcraft gets updated to 7.2.0.0 and above.
I've tested both in forge .710 and .712 and situation is persistent. I've sent a more brief notification to Covert Jaguar, author of Railcraft as well.
Armor has officially been pushed back to 1.6 due to this: http://www.minecraft.../wiki/Attribute
... ObsidianWalker, Kraal: The apple is intended as a crafting component, not strictly edibleness. An apple made of diamond blocks on the other hand...
...
Darn. I was looking forward to TC armor. All well, I can wait. Vanilla armor with enchanting plus works just as well for my needs.
Ah, then that makes more sense. I am interested in seeing what that diamond apple would be used to craft.
I never find enough diamonds to make diamond blocks unless I have Custom Ore Gen...you wouldn't believe how protected that diamond block apple would be if I got my hands on it.
For those disappointed with armor not being added, the category for the "Armor" gui is "wearables". This still includes clothing, jewelry, special equipment, etc.
Minecrafter1912: You'll have to find it randomly. They aren't terribly common or rare.
Blockmaster139: The API does allow for new liquids and alloys, yes.
bellitose: It sounds less like this mod and more like the sheer amount of mods you have.
AlexTheDragonborn: The only notable dungeon loot is miniature red hearts. Permanent health increases are nice however... Villages have tinker houses and those houses have a bunch of patterns and parts in them.
Spawn eggs for Natura have been added. They don't work with dispensers yet; I'll be getting to that soon.
Xeonen: Railcraft seems to be placing invisible blocks around. A fix will be up in a day or so.
I am trying to find TConstruct_1.3.dev.45.jar and I don't see for some odd reason a download history link or any of the sorts. Googling has proven hard and I still can't find it.
I have literally been trying to create the Smelter for 3 hours now.....watching videos, googling for problems. I FINALLY saw this about 5 mins ago:

Ok, now I know I'm not losing my mind. However.....that last sentence doesn't make a bit o' sense. Is this resolved with the new Railcraft update? Can I just downgrade to Railcraft 7.1 and everything will work again?
I have a small bug to report. Iron nuggets yield liquid copper when melted down in the smeltery. I first noticed this in NEI and tested in an actual game. Didn't see anything in the changelog about and nothing came up when I did a search of this topic about Iron Nuggets.
Fairly minor bug, but I thought you'd like to know about it.
I get this error with Tinkers Construct and Ars Magica installed. Any ideas?
