The idea behind the mod is that it tries to act like vanilla disks as much as possible. I may add new pack that contains recipes later on.

I agree with imitating the original minecraft, but then you could always add a creeper with headphones, that when explodes, 100% drop chance for a disc. I like the thought of a creeper with his walkman.

you can get them with dungeon loot or when a creeper is killed by a skeleton arrow.

Just a small update to those looking at the end of my post XD

The next update will include TheKindLunar pack + the MLP pack with all of its updates. I may add 1-2 new songs to the main pack too. As for the game pack I still need to talk the over with a few people. I also have a friend that makes nightcore. I could probably get permission from her to upload a 12pack or something XD

I know however there are a few issues with the songs and packs you have sent me that I would like to discuss in private. I havent had much time to focus on my own mod development as of recent so I have not been sending pms as much as I should be.

Im here all the time, its 3am now but I need my sleep. Unless you want me to organise the records into sprites.png or decrease the size of the files (prob could cut 20kb/s off each without noticable loss of quality) then I cant see any problems. Ive spent 4 days on them and listened to each one 2-8 times and theres nothing wrong with them.

Sorry, I have been way too busy, This server I work for has been having way too many problems XD

As I am sure you are aware, all the original song counterparts to those in my mod are copyrighted so I can not distribute them. If you want to download the songs as ogg files and replace the ones I provide that is ok with me however I don't want to see a download link to your private version with correct songs being shared with anyone besides yourself. If you want me to feature real artists you should send some tweets to the artists. There is a issue where some linux/mac users dont know how to show hidden files and folders. This is because those operating systems like to use the '.' operator as a way to mark hidden files and folders. I was not aware of this when I first packed up the mod. The way the mod is currently packed it is a .minecraft folder containing all my sounds and the mod files in the correct places however it does not contain anything else. Because there is a '.' operator the .minecraft file is hidden and I have to upload a new pack.

The reason why the first pack works proper is because I spent a few hours recoding, compressing sound files and so on to improve user experience. due to my limited time to get work on my mods done the eightbit pack is my top priority. In the next update I will be fixing up the pony pack to work better with those who have macs/linux.
