Just a thought. Is it possible to have spawn blocks for creative mode? One for each of the dungeon ruins, underground cities and walled cities? And start and end blocks for Great Walls? With the wall spawning between the two blocks and linking start to end?
It would be a great addition for those setting up adventure maps in creative.
I was thinking about a command to spawn. I don't like using blockId for such things.
I'm wondering, though. Could you update Nature Overhaul? I loved this mod when it was updated, and the source IS available down the bottom ("Developers" spoiler)

I would absoloutly love to use this mod on my SMP server. HOwever i've run into a little problem, Like many people who run small servers, i use McMyadmin 2. I'm not sure how to install this mod on that server. Mainly because im not sure how to install forge on mcmyadmin first. Is there any kind person out there who might be able to give me some tips perhaps? Would be very grateful if they could. (Also does this generate NPC's in the cities it makes?)

Great mod, thanks for keeping it alive. If I may suggest ideas for your next step, it would be to integrate these structures a bit better in the minecraft world? There are already some mob spawners and chest in some structures, but that's it. They feel a bit sterile and out-of-place.
A few ideas:
Cities could be home to some vanilla villagers.
Great Walls could occasionally link to a small stronghold or a bridge instead of just a tower
You could also have a Great Wall type with a railroad on top that the player could fix and use.

I think that the mod only check for build routines at world generation, no new chunk generation....
Thats expalin why we get ruins/cities/walls around spawn point and nothing else as we travel the world...
i have no idea of mod programing, but sounds logical...
An idea.... mixing this mod with Humans+ or Millenaire and great RPG fun for everyone !

I'm really happy to see this mod's been revived! I recently tested the compatibility with PlentyOBIomes, and while I didn't see any above ground structures, an underground city generated just fine.
How do you make cobblestone cities more common and bigger? I set the max and min length to 250 and made the global frequency of walled cities 1.0 AND removed all of the other cities templates except the cobblestone city. Yet when i do this i cant find any of the cobblestone cities or when i do their really tiny?
EDIT: Nevermind i fixed it i increased the weight to 200000

no. however the area they are spawning seems larger to me than it was. i turned off the ruins mod though so that might have something to do with it.
i did notice something odd. in the city locations list, if there are 4 sets of coordinates, they define 4 corners of one city. not 4 cities. the underground cities are not doing that, just the groundlevel ones.

Yeah, I noticed that the city locations where co-ordinates for each corner too, that was fairly odd.

Im using MultiMC for instance organization.
Looking at the console while starting a world, i see that MC check for Cities/wall/ruins generation but only at world generation and allways around spawn point. If i enter this save again, no check is launched at start up, neither check as new chunks are generated, so the only ones are the spawn point chunks ones ( and not allways....)
I think that the generation and check routines need to be analized.

Villagers are spawning in cities through spawner blocks, normally.
Setting a city as a "custom village" ? Feasible I think, but will mainly work if there are doors in the city.
(Minecraft counts associated villagers to a village this way, then spawns a golem if a certain number is reached.)
Anyway, added your ideas to the planned features.

could use some updating - the Zipline mod moreso. Thaumcraft 2, I feel, is far more interesting than its successor, Thaumcraft 3, so that's why I included it.
EDIT: Nevermind i fixed it i increased the weight to 200000
no. however the area they are spawning seems larger to me than it was. i turned off the ruins mod though so that might have something to do with it.
i did notice something odd. in the city locations list, if there are 4 sets of coordinates, they define 4 corners of one city. not 4 cities. the underground cities are not doing that, just the groundlevel ones.
anyhow, still love this mod!
Yeah, I noticed that the city locations where co-ordinates for each corner too, that was fairly odd.
Looking at the console while starting a world, i see that MC check for Cities/wall/ruins generation but only at world generation and allways around spawn point. If i enter this save again, no check is launched at start up, neither check as new chunks are generated, so the only ones are the spawn point chunks ones ( and not allways....)
I think that the generation and check routines need to be analized.

Villagers are spawning in cities through spawner blocks, normally.
Setting a city as a "custom village" ? Feasible I think, but will mainly work if there are doors in the city.
(Minecraft counts associated villagers to a village this way, then spawns a golem if a certain number is reached.)
Anyway, added your ideas to the planned features.
