This is a very basic mod which basically adds in gravity exactly like the type seen on the sand and gravel blocks, This allows almost all of the blocks to be able to fall if there is nothing placed beneath them.
** To install jut download the zip file and place all of its contents into your minecraft.jar and delete the META-INF folder! **
(No ModLoader or forge required!)
(Ps: I left bedrock alone so it wont collapse causing the whole world to fall into the void! )
Honestly, I don't think anyone will want this. Not only does it make cave systems and roofing practically impossible, but it opts for some serious trolling.
I suggest that you come up with some form of support system. Or, maybe it should be set so, for example, blocks that are on the same y axis, within a certain distance of, and have a direct connection to another block that is supported by a direct block, then they won't fall. That way, some with be supported. Look below:
So, as seen in this picture of the side of a house, the ground is already stabilized. The wall is supported by it (It'd fall like sand if one was removed from the wall) is, in turn, supporting the ceiling. However, it can only support a certain number of blocks in the roof. In this case, 5.
I was thinking, that maybe, each type of block could only support so many roof blocks? Sturdier blocks (Like brick) would be able to hold up more blocks than shiftier or more fragile ones (Like sand)
---
Also, on an unrelated note, I don't think that you should have the leaf blocks be affected unless they are within their limit of the tree.

Thanks for the suggestion I will try and implement this in the mod for when 1.5 come out! ty
Awesome mod man ! maybe add more blocks with gravity ?
Thanks for the Mod Spotlight
I'll put it in the main post!
I am going to try add gravity to all the blocks and also try and add in the supports so the the blocks wont fall if they are attached to another block!
so I have forge and I need to make this work but if I delete the meta-inf that came with forge i get the black screen if i put it in my mods or coremods like my nei and chickencore are it doesnt work is there anything I can do to make it work with my forge?
It's so cool, but when Ur playing survival mode
U know,When Ur house falling down....
Can players use config files to set what blocks they want to falling down?
Why do mods like this change vanilla block behaviors instead of adding a craftable falling block type? Say, craft a vanilla block with sand or gravel to get a falling version of said block?

Some people like me want gravity in nature of minecarft so when i build a building i wont have to craft gravity

NO NO YOU DID IT WRONG!YOUR SUPPOST TO ONLY DELETE THE META-INF IN THE MINECRAFT.JAR!NOT THE ONE IN FORGE!DUMMY!
Maybe you can add stuff like what Thegreenrobby said, and also using slime balls to make big ceilings, refer to chart:
Top view
o= block with no slime 0=block with slime on side
ooo0ooo Side view: ooo0ooo ooo ooo
ooo0ooo o o If not: o o o and natural made structures by crafted materials(planks, cobble, etc)(villages, dungeons) automatically have slime on them and if it is natural made with natural blocks then they stick together auto but not when placed by player.
ie. caves dont fall, but inappropriately built houses do.

- Ladders only fall when you place then (not if you remove one from beneath)
- Config File (Choose which blocks have gravity)

I'm a pixel artist who makes pixel things and maps! I also do line art occasionally.
I have two work in progress resource packs!
This is the second one!
And of course, by "work-in-progress" I mean "will never, ever be completed".
Oops! I was supposed to put wool! ty for pointing it out

umm am i able to install this mod into minecraft bedrock edition 1.17 version and will it work on it
This is for Minecraft Java edition 1.4 which is currently 8 years old, so it will not work with Bedrock or any Java version higher than 1.4
I remember this mod. Pretty cool.
