I launch the launcher, choose forge, click play, it closes, launches MC 1.6.4, shows the Mojang logo, then closes. No crash report.
Removed BBMM and it launches fine. (and it's not from alterations to the zip, I tested it with the same contents I had yesterday, still crashes now)
I had this issue before when I was running offline due to internet being down. As of right now I'm still have issues with my ISP, so I'm guessing BBMM has some script in it to check for an internet connection and crash if it cant find one (likely a 'check for updates' script) is there a way to dissable this?

It is the protection code to make sure the location you are playing from is authorized. Internet connection is required to at least start the game. On a plus side, I will be adding a clause to the check to 1.7+ versions of all of my mods to allow a fallback to try and allow playing offline, but that won't be here until Forge and MCP are updated.
Do you mind if I make a plugin (bbmm file) for your mod?
I will put a link in the description for your mod maker
and put you in the credits
I would not advise putting a bbmm file up for download here - people will assume it's a regular mod and be disappointed to learn that it required another mod that some of them may find intrusive/annoying (referring to my protection checks) to their experience. You may make a BBMM file and I will put up the link to it for you on the OP, if you'd like.
StratXGaming and I are going to be doing a talk on Twitch tonight about ProSthetics 2 and a -little- about my other mods and what their future's hold, new content for them, and overall what my goals are to achieve for them. The stream will be sometime around 8pm EST, on 12/15 just so we all know (12 hours or so from now). We will answer questions in chat as well, so if you have any, be sure to drop by and check it out! You can find the link to his stream on twitter, and be sure to check there for when we actually get started.
EDIT: The stream has been rescheduled due to some issues both of us had regarding technology. The stream will be on Tuesday, December 17 at 8pm. We hope everything works out this time and hope to see you all there!
I installed this, but how do I make a mod with it? I read the README file.
The README tells you everything you need to know. How to create the files, what to put in them, where to put the files, etc. If you are missing something, tell me specifically what you are missing.

So, i read the README file, and it told me about block creation tags, but where would I type in those tags?

simply drag any mods created through bbmm (that is, the .bbmm files that have been created)
The .bbmm file needs to be added to the bbmm folder in .minecraft.
If that doesn't help, you need to create a file with a .bbmm extension and add the creation tags with a text editor, then drop that/those files into the BBMM folder.
alrighty, it seems as if quite a few people are having trouble with the textures. In my case, I went with the resource pack method. Worked just fine, my items were all there, but when I went to the creative tab where the blocks and custom furnaces were supposed to be, none of my blocks were there. Any idea why that is? Again, my items were existing, craftable, and had their textures, but the blocks and furnaces were not.

Thans.
I will look into it. Send me your .bbmm files if you would, I won't need the textures.

I am also experiencing this problem, all of my custom items will load perfectly, but none of the blocks will load
EDIT: solved my problem, didn't realise the texture files needed to be case sensitive
I want to know if it is possible to do unusual operations, like... overwrite any ore generation with it, whatever the ore comes from a mod or a vanilla one ? I think that ores aren't rare at all, you don't even have to leave the spawn area to get everything you need... I already made a try with coal and the results are unconclusive, but I prefer avoid losing more time if it can't just be done.
I try to make Minecraft a few more challenging =)
You can add new ore spawns, but you can't change existing ones with BBMM. Sorry, hopefully you aren't too disappointed.
It was expected so no problem. I found the worldgen key in the readme while doing standard use of bbmm, so I wanted to know if it was possible. I hope that one day I will find a way for this.
