How can I get builds from github without installing Eclipse?
In the case of samrg472's builds, just scroll down; in the Readme section of both MFR and Power Converters, there's links to actual builds. (For quick access, Power Converters is here: https://github.com/samrg472/PowerConverters )
Regrettably, although the build is there, allows Minecraft to load, and the blocks can be placed, it doesn't actually seem to function properly. I set up in my test world, and a bank of 7 force engines producing 16 MJ/t each leading to the BC consumer via golden pipes (which can carry far more than that) read as 10 MJ/t input on the energy bridge, and although the IC2 producer was connected to an MFSU via glass fiber cable, it didn't output anything at all. And still read as Input Limited. Steam Producers don't link at all to BuildCraft fluid pipes or to tanks.
So it is, unfortunately, not functional at this time.
Could I get a little help? I just ported my Minecraft save to a server.
It runs good except for one little issue... Power converters items have dissapeared off my map and It won't allow me to craft them.
They show up in NEI, and the itmes show in my crafting table, but I can't remove them.
It seems like it might be a configuration option, but I can not for the life of me find it.

Using FTB 1.5.2 if that helps at all.
Did you transfer the power converter mod over to the server? Sounds like power converter is not even on the server. If the mod is on the client, it will still show even if its not on the server.

Very strange. For some reason the mod had be renamed with .disabled at some point.

Works for me - I used latest build from his jenkins.
Can someone please tell me how to get the new beta versions installed? I put them in the mods folder in 1.6.2 and all of the other ones load up just fine, but any of the ones from the Jenkins repository (I am actually trying the PowerCrystalsCore-1.1.8B1-124.jar for starters) don't even get recognized as having been installed and the JAR file is in the exact same place as all the rest.
I have an issue with the Fruit Picker and Pams Harvestcraft trees. Instead of just picking the fruit and leaving the unripe there to regrow it gives the fruit but destroys the regrowable unripe fruit. The only tree that it seems to work on is the Cinnamon but that could be because its on the trunk rather than a hanging fruit. Any fix that you know of?
can anyone help with this crashlog with both of the third party updated downloads for MFR and PCcore posted above, FML 871 for 1.6.2.
it mentions code chicken core in the console output right before the crash, not sure what to make of that, except maybe this is an api or cross mod functionality crash?
24 hours gone again, wasted in futility, welcome to minecraft modding, that is (unfortunately) our community.

i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.
i am having some trouble getting nether ores to work. i had a bunch of mods, and nether ores was working perfectly. then i transfered over to the magic launcher for convenience. when I install PCC by itself, it works fine, although it doesnt show up in the mods section of the main menu., like its not even there. on the add mods page of the launcher, it says that there is no mods found for it, even when i add nether ores. Then i install Nether Ores, and it says:
Forge Mod Loader has found a problem with your minecraft installation. The mods and versions listed below could not be found.
PowerCrystalsCore:any
The file 'ForgeModLoader-client-0.log' contains more information.
i opened the client log mentioned (its an LCK file) using notepad and there was nothing there. completely blank. im not sure if im using the wrong program or whats wrong.
I have to say this again, it was working perfectly without the magic launcher, so either there is compatibility issue, which i doubt, or im missing something.

YAY. i fixed it. i installed PCC in my coremods folder manually, and it worked fine. i had pretty much the same problem with NEI and CodeChickenCore, and this fixed them as well. i guess that some coremods you just have to add manually.
samrg472, Can you start a new topic for you unofficial PC updates? Make things a little easier to tell which versions are being spoken of.
Anyway, using Samrg472's updated PowerCrystalsCore, MFR, and PowerConverters, I get the error that PowerCrystalsCore cannot be found by forge. This is using the latest build, #28 found on Sam's Github/Jenkins. While writing this, I downloaded and started it up with the previous successful build, #25, and MC loaded, so it would appear to be a issue with that build of PCC.
That should help you out.
Thanks mate, even though none of the builds worked at least it is good to know that there are people around porting the mod.

If it's not true, surely you can tell us what is true.

It's not a .lck file, instead it's a .log file.EDIT: Didn't look
You need my compatibility module to use Forestry plantables with MFR.
