I have to ask, will this mod sometime have compatibility with thaumcraft's straw golem? It's a real shame that straw golems wont harvest any strawberries or rice.
Also, anyone know if the farming cart from steve's carts will harvest them? I dont have the mod so Idk if it can.

Adding integration with other mods is definitely on my to-do list, I know it's something people really want It's not a massive priority RIGHT now though, i've been pretty busy lately so I haven't had much time to work on the mod, and I feel like it's more important to work on new features and fixes and stuff.
The plan at the minute is that the next update (v2.0) will be a big one, with a decent chunk of new stuff to play with, then once that is done and released I'll probably start working on the smaller stuff like thaumcraft integration

EDIT: Also I'd just like to point out to everyone - I know that 1.5 came out today, and some of you might be waiting for an update, however at the bottom of the announcement post on Mojang.com it says: "We know the readers of this blog are a little bit more hardcore about Minecraft than most, so we should tell you that a 1.5.1 already is on its way. We plan to snapshot this tomorrow, and hopefully get it out as soon as possible". Due to this we probably won't be updating the mod till that comes out, otherwise we'll just have to do it again in a few days xD

I FOUND WHY THE TEXTURES WERE BUGGING I made a really stupid amateurish mistake, it was just a single line of code which I'd left out... all of you who said it was my fault not Forge's may now proceed to mock me. Fix will be in the next update

All of ths is really GREAT news! I´ve been using your mod for some time now, and gets more motivating every week.
If it´s not too much to ask: Would you please consider giving empty glass bottles back to the player after cooking process? Of course you could gather huge amounts of sand, but somehow "burning up" my world feels a bit strange.
Anyways: Great mod! I´m eagerly waiting for your next update!

Relly? Thx Tea and coffee can make all adventures better It could be awesome if coffee and tea gives Health generation or something like that and.. it could also be nice if the Rice and Strawberrys had 100 % chance to drop minimum 1 strawberry or Rice seed
We have some ideas as to what effects coffee and tea will have ;3 and yeah, the balance of plant generation/drops is something we're looking at tweaking!

At the minute we'd rather people didn't put our mod into public modpacks, we'll be updating the mod with a lot of new stuff soon and we don't want people to be stuck on an old version. After the next version comes out though, we'll consider it!

EDIT: or if you're feeling lazy here's a link (although you should note that you need to be using Minecraft version 1.4.6 or 1.4.7 and download this version of forge rather than the recomended one, not the one it says in the video. This is because our mod hasn't been updated to 1.5 yet - when it does update you'll literally just be able to follow the instructions in the video)

I like this mod, many thanks to the makers. Had to register just to post here.
I like it because it adds enough new foods without overdoing it, because sheeps and squids drop something to eat and because of the stove, that makes you actually cook your stuff with pan and fire and not just magically fry and bake on the crafting table grid. So quite awesome indeed.
Hope the buckets are being handed back too, like the bottles, in the next update. Scrambled eggs with 3 irons in it is kind of hard to digest.
Hope you guys are not going to add too many items and crops. I'd rather have 5 ingredients with 25 recipes then 25 ingredients with 25 recipes. Stopped using Pam's Haverstcraft recently because it added too much stuff in fact, without adding new mechanics. You just end up needing huge farms and a lot extra chests for nothing, and having the gameworld cluttered with plants you never use.
Two more things very quick: what about frying pans that loose durability and need replacement after a while? One or two more squid recipes or being able to use as "fish" in the sushi/rice ones?

Yes, buckets will be handed back too in the new stove slot next version, it's pretty unfair to lose 3 iron over something as small as scrambled eggs xD
The thing about not adding too many items for the sake of it is something I really agree with! One of the things I'm focusing on at the minute is adding more mechanics and gameplay depth to the mod.
Frying pan durability is something that I want to add next update too
I really like the idea of squid being used in those recipes as an alternative, will definitely consider that for the update

Soon, hopefully! The last two updates have just been bugfixes, so we really wanted to get some new features out in the next one; of course as soon as I started working on it Jeb decided it would be a good time to update to 1.5 It should be coming some time this month though.
