It is still coming, don't worry! I've just been too busy to work on it lately due to college stuff, the course is gonna be winding down this week onwards though so I should be able to finally make time to get it done

Having trouble learning to mod? PM me with your problem and I'll try to help you figure things out
1. Most of your graphics are much better than a lot of mod graphics I've seen out there. Not all of them (the mug doesn't look so great), but quite a number (fried egg, lamb steak, the jam jar, etc.), so well done! I'm impressed.
2. There's at least one free Cola recipe out there. Non-proprietary. In case you'd be concerned about legal issues over cola in general. Might be good to give them a shout-out in any case.
3. Bento box! Awesome! Except it looks to me like you make a box lunch and then the box gets destroyed? Also the box is made of sticks instead of planks? Huh. Maybe you could find a way to make a Bento Box item that works like a Bucket, where you add food to it and then get the box back once you've eaten the food? That would be really cool.
4. This mod is a bit too non-Medieval for my Minecraft (tacos?), but I might end up getting it for my nephew if it gets updated before too long. Update away!
5. I've been using Pam's HarvestCraft, and one of the things that I dislike about her mechanics is that she has several pieces of cookware (skillet, saucepan, pot, bakeware, knife-and-cutting-board, and mortar-and-pestle), but they work like normal pieces of a recipe - hence, you have to stick them in the crafting square, then put them back in the crafting square for each new recipe. Making a lot of the same type of food gets annoying.
I've long wanted to see her switch to something like you've got going (as far as I can see from your screenshots), where there's an Oven/Stove or Counter block that allows you to put the utensils in slots to the side and do the recipe separately from the utensils. So one thing you could think about doing is to add a couple other types of cookware using the same mechanic you've already got going.
6. Have you ever considered breaking your mod up into modules? Several mods that I'm using now have some form of modular construction. Metallurgy lets you choose which sub-sets of metals you want, HarvestCraft lets you choose which plants you want, one of the fireplace mods now lets you change the config files to reduce the number of available materials or patterns (so my creative inventory isn't clogged with tons of items).
Without putting too much thought into it right now, I could see this mod being split into the following sub-mods, so each player could download exactly the stuff they wanted:
Stove and all cooked recipes (plus apple pancakes)
Dropped Squid Meat and Lamb, plus their cooked versions (since they don't require the stove)
Burgers
Jams and all Jam sandwiches, along with Strawberry plants
Confections (pies, muffins, and chocolate)
Drinks
Rice, Sushi, Bento Box, Oil, and any additional rice-type goodies you add
The hedges
Some of the stuff in one module wouldn't work without stuff from another module (e.g. some of the Stove recipes need the Oil from the Rice module, and one of the Drinks needs chocolate from the Confections module), but in general you'd have a set of modules that players could choose from. If we could also disable specific items via config files, it'd be even better.
But, in general, nice mod! I look forward to seeing it updated.

My YouTube channel is currently on hiatus, but I hope to get back to it at some point. Content is fairly random, but can be enjoyable, and is mostly game footage (mostly random Minecraft clips) from my nephews and me. Most popular MC vid so far is the one Vechs laughed at on Twitter!
Wow, that's some pretty indepth feedback, thanks I'll try and go through it all!
1. I'm sure DizzyAlyx will be very glad to hear you think so I think her graphics were a big reason our mod has been doing so well (or better than I expected, at least xD)
2. Yeah, it's not the legal aspect that we're worried about, it's just how to do it in a way that doesn't seem too simple but doesn't get too techincal for the scope of our mod? My thinking was to maybe add a higher tier of equipment later on for making food factories and stuff, maybe having a bottling station for cola or something... I want to get the current tier working well first though, just a pipe dream so far
3. One of the BIG changes in the next version is that I'm going through and making sure foods give their containers back after being eaten or cooked; this should get fixed!
4. The 'should it fit the medieval sort of setting' thing was something we did consider when starting the mod, we just thought we'd be able to come up with a bigger selection of more interesting foods if we included modern stuff too.
5. This is exactly what our aim was making this mod We'll be adding new utensils along with new foods in coming versions, and I do have a few ideas for some mechanics that don't just involve putting items into slots, which may make things a little more interesting.
6. I've considered it! I don't think the mod is quite big enough to warrant the effort at the minute though, I don't have much time to work on it as it is (as I'm sure you can tell by the delay on 1.5.1), so a total restructure isn't on the cards soon, but maybe in the future when more items have been added and maybe more tiers of equipment and stuff, we'll do something along those lines. Maybe even a medieval pack for people who would want it such as yourself Point noted with the config item disabling though, i'll look into it.
Anyway, wow that was longer than I expected xD Thanks for checking out our mod, hope you'll be able to give it a try when it does update!

Keep on the good work guys...Make the food gives some effects to player but not superpowers like chilli makes the player on fire for 2-3secs.It may be cool.

Yeah, if ALL the foods just gave hunger points it'd get boring fast, we have some ideas for fun stuff to add like that ;3 I like the idea with the chilli though!

Possibly! That might kinda screw over players who don't have a furnace nearby though? Will give it some thought.

Oh I had another idea tht other mod may not hv tht is u can craft snowball into ice and put it into juice(crafted)to make it become ice drink or juice and sorry to be such annoying XD
First of all, I really love this mod!
And I can't wait for the next update to add to my personal modpack!
Play from the beginnings of food mastering
Like Telamonn123TheMinecrafter said, giving some effects to the foods would definitely make it more interesting.
Maybe also when you have eaten to much? (Empty / nearly empty hunger bar (Like 0,5 - 2 hams?) --> Eating full makes you sick?)
Like you have a stomach ache when you have eaten to much.
(Just one of my thoughts...)
And last, please never stop this mod, I'd die!
A very deserved for you all!
We're very glad you're enjoying the mod :3 and yes, more varied effects for foods is something that's on our to-do list

Ooooh, that could be a pretty cool idea actually And you're not being annoying at all, listening to the cool ideas everyone comes up with is one of my favourite parts of working on the mod! Keep 'em coming ;D

Hmmm, do you have the right version of minecraft (1.4.6/1.4.7 only atm) and the right version of forge installed? Make sure you're putting it in your mods folder rather than in the jar? It's hard to know what the problem is without more information, could you copy and paste the crash log? I'd be happy to help if so
