Smithy is my first mod, and it adds 7 new ores, 7 new tool-and-armor sets, and a new GUI block, the crucible. The crucible is crafted with bricks as shown below, and is used in the making of alloys.
The new ores are, from left to right, copper, tin, wolfram(WOLF-ram), celestine(sel-est-INE), ignatite(ig-na-TITE), protosteel, and omnesium(om-nee-seeum). Copper, tin, wolfram, and celestine form in the overworld, with copper and tin being slightly rarer than coal, wolfram being rarer than iron, and celestine being slightly less rare than diamond. Ignatite and protosteel both form very commonly in the nether, and omnesium forms extremely commonly in the end. Copper and tin require at least a stone pick, wolfram, celestine, protosteel, and ignatite require an iron pick, and omnesium requires a diamond pickaxe.
Of the 7 ores, only protosteel can be made into tools/armor directly, all others are components of alloys that are made using the crucible. The alloys are orichalcum(or-ih-CHAL-kum), bronze, steel, hephaetum(hef-AY-tum), mithril, and promethium(pro-ME-theeum).
Orichalcum is an alloy of gold and copper, which raises the durability of the tools, while keeping the enchantability of gold.
Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin. It's stats come almost exactly between those of stone and iron.
Steel is an alloy of iron and wolfram, with the mining ability of diamond, but the durability is barely higher than that of iron.
Hephaetum is the nether equivalent of steel, made by combining protosteel and ignatite. It's durability is nearly double steel's, and it's digspeed and enchantability are slightly higher.
Mithril is made by re-alloying steel with celestine, increasing the durability to be equal with diamond, making it essentially artificial diamond.
Promethium is the new highest tier material, as you have to get to the end, mine some omnesium, defeat the enderdragon, and return to the overworld to obtain it. It has the same durability as diamond, a faster dig-speed than diamond, and 3rd highest enchantability of all materials.
2) Run minecraft.
3) Place the .zip file in the mods folder
4) Play

You say that you can't use the textures of this mod for anything unrelated to it but you stole the celestine and ignatite textures from dokucraft. Seems like a nice mod anyway.

Last time I played with dokucraft, none of the textures looked like mine, and I used textures from an old mod that hasn't been updated since 1.8 as a base for the celestine, ignatite, and omnesium crystal textures, and they were edited, but I will remove that line, as I don't really care about textures all that much.
Thanks for the video! You're inability to pronounce come of the names (no offence ) has inspired me to explain pronunciations! If I can figure out how, I will embed your video into the main post.

Haha sorry I tried my best. And thank you for posting it!

Heres a link to the mod thread. http://www.minecraft...al-mod-ssp-smp/
I didn't think they were necessary, but here you go.
Why does it need a different name? "Smithy" is another word for a forge, and in forges people work metal, which is what you do with this mod.
It was going to be "SmithyCraft" but that already exists, so I took off the -craft suffix.

Sarcasm?
