Electric Expansion is a Universal Electricity mod that focuses mainly on energy storage and transfer as well as adding more cables for better energy transfer. This mod will make Universal Electricity more complex and realistic. We try to make all aspects as realistic as possible, whether that means the items and block names or the processes and materials for each aspect of Electric Expansion.
1. Install the correct version of Minecraft Forge by dragging the contents of the download into your minecraft.jar http://www.files.minecraftforge.net Download the latest Recommended Build - Universal
2. Drag the ElectricExpansionvxxx.jar into the mods folder of your .minecraft
3. If you are playing survival, download Basic Components and put it in the mods folder as well. http://calclavia.com...sal Electricity
This mod falls under the IMS (It's My Stuff) license. In particular, the revision of the license created by Alex_hawks (henceforth known as Alex).
Under the license, there exist the following conditions:
1: All distributions (eg. Modpacks) must either retain the license, or provide a direct link to it, either on the same page as the download (spoilers work), or in the downlaod itself. Linking to the mod's thread, site, etc is also fine.
2: You MUST NOT say you helped, when you didn't help at all. You can say you didn't help, when you did actually help.
3: For modpacks (just in case); you MUST be legally alowed to include all other mods. For the purposes of mods that also include this condition, such as Quidity Enderstorage, you have permission, so as to avoid an infinite loop.
4: If you do include this mod in your modpack, you must only include Recomended Builds, or Official Releases.
5: Do NOT decompile the mod. You do not need to. Just visit the Github repo of the mod.
6: Unless otherwise stated above, you do not need permission for any use of this mod, except making money, in which case permission can be made public, but only requires a mutually trusted third party to be informed.
7: Permission to use this mod in your modpack may be revoked if the modpack is generating a bad response in our community.
8: If not explicitly stated above, refer to the Universal Electricity license.
I know they're compatible, but I keep running into problems. Using the 1.4.6 Jar(because the FTB launcher reverts to 1.4.6 even if you have 1.4.7) and EE version 1.2.3, the client crashes, obviously. If I use version 1.2.1, the client doesn't crash, but NEI doesn't work, either. I haven't tried any other versions, but do you have any reccomendations?
Ah yes, I keep meaning to work on that but I get interrupted with urgent fixes. I will work on a changelog page for every release now.
Yes, that way I can see how badly you progressed JK, but in seriousness, you should always keep a log so that when your mod is done, you can sit back and look at it and go like: Wow, I've done a lot
