Guys, I ve got a problem with new version of Lotr, my camera zoom than back to normall position EVERY second.Did enyone got problem like this? How i can fix it?
The latest version won't let me play it. With the new Forge, it has the special loading screen, right, and anytime I try to play the game with the latest update of this amazing mod on, it freezes, and won't go past the loading screen. It doesn't matter how long I wait, it will not load, so I checked to see what it was stuck on, so I could remove it. And it turns out it was stuck on the LotR's mod..
There is no error log or anything like that, but if needed, I could possibly try to dig around in the logs to see if I can find something to help, but I really hope this issue is fixed. This is my favorite mod and I really want to play the latest update.
It has played completely fine before, so I know it isn't an issue with compatibility. So I'll be using an older version for now, just wanted to let this out there.
Edit - I actually need a link to an older version of the 1.7.10 version. Anyone have a link, since it seems to only show 1.7.2 and below..?
Strange things going on related to this mods ring portal. Whenever i use the ring portal so many times after a while the world will not be able to load overworld chunks, effectively destroying the world. There isnt a crash or anything but my logs get immensely huge afterwards. I am using a fairly decent sized list of other mods along side it, could that be the problem?

Not sure if this is it, but check if you've got Coros' weather mod installed. Last time I tried those two together they caused an issue a lot like what you're describing.

For those who don't mind a bit of reading, I've been writing mod examinations on Hubpages under the name Cliffwalker. So far I've done full articles for several mods, including the likes of Witchery,Enviromine, andLycanite's Mobs, and I have also written a few multi-mod articles to help those who wish to find upgrades for a specific aspect of their game, such as the Nether.
For some reason the wings ( 3D parts ) on all the helms and armor are broken and do not appear. Im using the beta 1.7.10 version and forge version 10.13.4.1558-1.7.10.
Is this download safe? Does it have any viruses or anything?
No, anything found on the OFFICIAL Minecraft Forums are safe, as long as you click where you should be clicking. What's more, if you navigate to the button at the top of this page that says 'Mods on Curse', you will find hundreds, if not thousands, of other mods that are safe.
Have a fun time & props to you for being safe!

Now look, buddy. I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like 'what is beauty', because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems. Like, how am I going to stop some big, mean mother-hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: Use a gun. And if that don't work: Use more gun. Like this heavy-caliber, tripod-mounted little ol' number designed by me. Built by me. And you'd best hope, not pointed at you.
To get Angmar alignment, make sure your friendly fire setting is on, then kill Rangers of the North or High Elves..
If you can be cheat, do this
/alignment set ANGMAR 8
That will set your Angmar alignment to 8
Hope this will help!

It was never weird in the first place. If you have a problem with the combat system, you may go play a different version.
Then you can spam M1 all you want.

Can you clarify what you meant by, "in the mods folder in the server folder"? I didn't understand clearly.

Furthermore, do you have the mod installed to your client? It doesn't just require the mod to be installed to the server, it has to be in the mods folder inside of your .minecraft file.

Uhh... can we get that in a spoiler tag please? Also, if I'm understanding you, you just cut off after the LOTRRoads line. Nothing in that monster-post jumped out at me(other than the LOTR prefix and broken ore dictionary stuff, but nothing seemed to suggest what else is causing the crash, and it's not the LOTR mod on its own). I think we'll need the rest before we can give you an actual answer.

Hmm, was playing around earlier as a villain and realized something. Roughly 1/3rd of the gameworld (currently everything north of Fangorn except the Shire, Iron Hills, and Blue Mountains) is filled with good-aligned archers of some sort or other. While all of these have their own tricks, strengths, and weaknesses, it might be still be good to add in something else for evil players to face just for the sake of variety.

Hey Mevans. I was wondering if you could explain how you play this mod with friends on a LAN Network.

Is the combat system still weird?
I don't really know why I'm here, to be honest.
Tries to be a punny guy, but fails. At least I'm a fungi.

You should add the frogs and the food of trolls in the mod.
