And will you add a Spider from movie as a boss ? That would be awesome dont you think ?
- He will spawn in caves or dungeon
- new block Cobwebby mordor stone
- Cobwebby skeleton
- creepy atmosphere
- Spider's Nest
Please add
Oh, I see what you're getting at. The spider you're thinking of from the movies is Shelob, and is different from the spiders (although related) in Nan Ungol currently in the mod. Eventually Shelob will probably be added as some type of boss, but I'd imagine not for awhile.

Alright cool, and what about the elephants from Return of the King?
No elephants are planed as far as I know.
Mumakil are, however.

can you make it so dwarves ride big horn sheep? I read the faq and everything and i know they already ride boars but you know the mines are no place for a pony.
in regards to your fb thing with rewards or capes or whatever players could get prized steeds.(horse armor and horse of a faction) You could make a special redhorn goat for a specific dwrven faction possibly otherwise unattainable
I am wanting to get into the LOTR mod. I haven't played it a lot before. I did a bit from the Void Launcher last year. But I was wanting to get really into it. I wanted to know about using the latest version. Is it pretty stable and best to play that? Also are there any good mods that go well with it? or is it best to play it almost solo (maybe map mod or something). How is the 1.7.10 version of LOTR mod? Compared to the 1.7.2 version? Also what about other mods? Any that might work well with it? Or ones that conflict and do not work well and stuff?
Ah ok. I only ask about other mods because on the Void Launcher theres what, version 2.1 it says? Isn't it 19.2 or something right now? But their pack includes tons of mods on top of the LOTR mod. That is why I was wanting to know what might make the fullest or most fun experience. If it might be the LOTR mod alone that'd be fine or with other mods on 1.7.10 thats fine too haha.
No. He is dead by the time this mod takes place. His head was cut off by Dain Ironfoot II.
Besides, he isn't in any of the books. Only in the appendixes of the Return of the King.

????! if hes already dead and the time this mod takes place is so late then how the hell are we ever going to have quests from the Silmarillion? too bad we cant get seasons on this mod that would be kind of cool to show how time passes like the years frodo spent inthe shire after obtaining the ring of doom
A good boss would be something tht could have been a side story in the lotr. IMO a ranger captain/chieftain with some form of advanced bow and arrow/sword skills spawn egg treasure/dungeon loot and if you arent evil you can spawn him to help you the only way to kill him is arrows and perhaps only a fire aspect bow or only spears because that would be a far more difficult challenge not 100% original but im trying here.
I Have a question. Do you plan in the future of this mod to add roads\paths in middle earth For example The Forest Road,The Old Forest Road and The Great East Road ?

Sorry, Maven has already said that he will most likely not add story lines from the Silmarillion. It happened in the past. It is history.
If he were to do it, he might as well make another mod for all the stuff that can be found.
a balrog of morgoth?
the mod isnt 100% strict to the books or movies dude hence warg bombers, troll chief etc
This mod will not change anything from the books. 'Warg bombers' are not mentioned in the book, yes, but there is nothing that says that they are not there. Troll chieftains are in the book. One almost crushes Pippin at the Black Gate, if y'don't remember.
Azog, however, is DEAD. Here is the passage in which he dies:
"Thereupon Azog came forth, and he was a great Orc with a huge iron-clad head, and yet agile and strong. With him came many like him, the fighters of his guard, and as they engaged Náin's company he turned to Náin, and said:
'What? Yet another beggar at my doors? Must I brand you too?' With that he rushed at Náin and they fought. But Náin was half blind with rage, and also very weary with battle, whereas Azog was fresh and fell and full of guile. Soon Náin made a great stroke with all his strength that remained, but Azog darted aside and kicked Náin's leg, so that the mattock splintered on the stone where he had stood, but Náin stumbled forward. Then Azog with a swift swing hewed his neck. His mail-collar withstood the edge, but so heavy was the blow that Náin's neck was broken and he fell.
Then Azog laughed, and he lifted up his head to let forth a great yell of triumph; but the cry died in his throat. For he saw that all his host in the valley was in a rout, and the Dwarves went this way and that slaying as they would, and those that could escape from them were flying south, shrieking as they ran. And hard by all the soldiers of his guard lay dead. He turned and fled back towards the Gate.
Up the steps after him leaped a Dwarf with a red axe. It was Dáin Ironfoot, Náin's son. Right before the doors he caught Azog, and there he slew him, and hewed off his head. That was held a great feat, for Dáin was then only a stripling in the reckoning of the Dwarves. But long life and many battles lay before him, until old but unbowed he fell at last in the War of the Ring. Yet hardy and full of wrath as he was, it is said that when he came down from the Gate he looked grey in the face, as one who has felt great fear.
When at last the battle was won the Dwarves that were left gathered in Azanulbizar. They took the head of Azog and thrust into its mouth the purse of small money, and then they set it on a stake. But no feast nor song was there that night; for their dead were beyond the count of grief. Barely half of their number, it is said, could still stand or had hope of healing."

Hopefully that ends the debate about his death.

Shelob is female, the last daughter of Ungoliant.

Morgoth, fortunately (or unfortunately, if you're nuts), was been cast into the void.
