After B23, doesn't wanna launch due to not enough memory. In B23 I could run this mod with forge, damage indicators, fastcraft, liteloader, optifine, and a bunch of litemods, all of it with 2GB allocated to minecraft. Now I cannot even run the mod alone with 3.5GB allocated. What th **** is going on?
(Does it have to do something with Forge? When I played this with all of those other mods, the forge launcher didn't have the indicating loading bars on launching screen... Now it's always stuck at Initializing Minecraft Engine 3/7...)

That's a bit bizzare, I have 4gb of ram allocated to MC, but I've also always run LOTR with a lot of other mods(rarely less than 60mods). Are you absolutely sure you have the latest version of forge installed, and nothing else in? Also, while I've used Liteloader with this mod without issue, that was around beta 21, so maybe something happened between now and then that causes problems between the two.

For all those who dislike the Lord of the Rings Mod's combat changes or find it works badly with other mods,Dynamic Sword Skills (and probably Zelda Sword Skills) bypasses the LOTR mod's weapon speed settings when the player is locked on to a target, allowing one to swing as fast as they normally would. Combining the two might unbalance some of the LOTR mod's weapons, and Dynamic Sword Skills in general tends to make things easier thanks to the combo system and extra combat abilities, but it's a pretty fun combat upgrade and there doesn't seem to be any other conflicts between the two mods.
And to shamelessly advertise my own work, I wrote a combined review of Dynamic Sword Skills and Mine and Blade: Battlegear 2 ages ago, here's the link if you'd like to read that over.

I'm having trouble running this mod on my server. It runs but lags and crashes when more than one player gets on. I have a quad-core server with 6GB ram. I've dedicated 4GB to run LOTR but it still shows tick skipping errors constantly. This is the only mod on the server. I am running latest 1.7.10 forge. My java running latest 64-bit version. I have tried adding FastCraft but it only helps a little. It still lags and crashes. This is the first version of LOTR I've had this much trouble with.
I also have a 1GB network connection that is doing practically nothing. OS is Windows Home Server 2011.

gypsy270: try increasing your perm size: -XX:PermSize=512m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m is what I do. (Max is probably the only one that's necessary.) Seems to help with mods with tons of entities.

Killed off my LOTR world and regenned it and things work now...(fingers crossed)

For those who don't mind a bit of reading, I've been writing mod examinations on Hubpages under the name Cliffwalker. So far I've done full articles for several mods, including the likes of Witchery, Enviromine, and Lycanite's Mobs, and I have also written a few multi-mod articles to help those who wish to find upgrades for a specific aspect of their game, such as the Nether.

I'm having trouble running this mod on my server. It runs but lags and crashes when more than one player gets on. I have a quad-core server with 6GB ram. I've dedicated 4GB to run LOTR but it still shows tick skipping errors constantly. This is the only mod on the server. I am running latest 1.7.10 forge. My java running latest 64-bit version. I have tried adding FastCraft but it only helps a little. It still lags and crashes. This is the first version of LOTR I've had this much trouble with.
I also have a 1GB network connection that is doing practically nothing. OS is Windows Home Server 2011.
Any suggestions?
gypsy270: try increasing your perm size: -XX:PermSize=512m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m is what I do. (Max is probably the only one that's necessary.) Seems to help with mods with tons of entities.
