What's wrong with cobwebs in caves? This problem was the reason I added them, and they appear in almost every biome. I didn't think they were too hard to find.
Maybe have Merchants, Traders, Blacksmiths, and Bartenders sell string. If someone wanted to play a ranger type, Good or Evil, This would help RP. He/She could fight Orcs/Men and stay above ground yet still need to seek civilization. Although Mirkwood bows rock. Maybe just make a few per visit.
Speaking of cobwebs, seeing them makes me wonder were the cave spiders are. Can cave spiders be added underground? They could fight orcs like the mirkwood spiders.
I was in such a hurry to get back to Middle Earth, I almost forgot. Great mod. Love it. Thank you for all your efforts. This mod rocks.

Azog got killed by Dain II Ironfoot in the battle of Azanulbizar, after Azog killed Nain, Dain's father. In The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey Azog gets out, and Dain isn't even mentioned.
Couldn't have said it better. That's why I said the Hobbit movie sucked...

Other Idea but again not saying : Do this first release or anything, just giving you ideas For Future of the mod.(It has a lot of potential)
-Eventually adding BIG quests, Taking some npc's with you to fight the giant squid, Maybe a giant battle at minas tirith? (that would be very hard but epic xD!)
And why not fight Gandalf or Saruman in a "BIG quest" at least you would only have 1 Staff, that you couldn't really destroy or you could respawn if it is destroyed.
-Adding Wargs mounts with orcs on top, that would spawn in plains, in groups.
-Adding Ents that you could mount if you gain trust by..
And Maybe If You Are Good You Are A Ranger(skin), And Bad A Ringwraith(skin)
Great Job! This is by far My Fav Mod!
and Very Accurate to the LOTR Books
I really like the new features you've added to the hiring system. One of the things I would like to see added as well would be the option to toggle whether the hired unit follows you or roams freely. This could be useful if you want to garrison a fort, where you could set the teleportation option to false and switch "follow" to "roam". The units would be able to move about and attack enemies, and you wouldn't have to worry about them leaving the fort to try and follow you.

The crash is caused by the world attempting to retrieve the material type of a block which doesn't exist. I don't know what could cause this, and I've never experienced it or heard of it before. Could you just verify that the bug still happens on a new world with only this mod installed?
Sorry, I don't take mod requests, and I have no plans to create any other mods.
Alright I cant get it to crash with it alone. Looks like ill be waiting till this mod updates a couple of times and hope its fixed :/
Can you consider adding a bigger barrel by combining 4 barrels in the crafting GUI?
It would have 64 drinks but only cost the price of sixteen like the regular barrels so it would have a purpose.
Yeah, and those movie adaptions of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings make people say such stupid things, that I have trouble finding words to describe their stupidity until I in the end decide that I'd better not say anything at all. (no offense to those people)
You had better not be implying me. Because I did NOT say that Azog was the only problem.

Found a good spot with almost all the biomes within easy reach.
I can see Dunland, Mirkwood, Fangorn, Trollshaws, Shire, Rohan, Gondor, Mordor, Lothlorien, Dead Marshes, Emyn Muil, Iron Hills, and just north of Mordor you have Misty Mountains.
There's an Ithilien in there as well but I can't remember where.
Only one of the current biomes that's missing is Lonelands that I can think of, and there's lonelands at

Speaking of seeds. Version Beta10, "Middle Earth" is again Awsome. Gondor X-1000,Z0 Spawns huge. It has Mordor to the east of Gondor and Rohan in the north. Isengard is Just north and west of Rohan. The shire is southwest of Gondor on the other side of some Misty Mountains.
The shire X-2000,X+1500 is bordered by a bit of Mirkwood with a Wood Elven village in sight through the trees. There are Iron Hills with Misty mountains just beyond. Fanghorn and lone lands finish the border with Another Rohan lies just south.
I wasn't going to post anymore seeds, but this Shire has assess to Mithril and Mirkwood bows and now that I've spawned it in Large Biome, I Love 'Middle Earth' even more.
By the way. Generating a large biome overworld seems to amplify Biome sizes by about 50% The White Mountains of Gondor become real mountains. Rivers become big enough to navigate with the craft from the Small Boats mod. I've established a port in Gondor and Sail south, Often in sight of the Dunlands, right to the foothills the Misty Mountains. The river runs through the Iron Hills, I named it 'Mithril River'.
