Is there any way to lengthen the sight of the mobs added by this mod? Im making a map for this and it would be great if dwarfs and orcs can sense each other right from where they spawn.
Mevans I have an idea when adding new stuff to the mod for now on.
What you do is you start each update with a biome, each biome would (when the map is made like middle-earth) connect to each other and make the fellowships track. For example you made the shire next would be Bree/Bree-lands then the trollshaws then weathertop then rivendell ect ect.... With each new biome you add content related to that biome so much that you don't have to come back t it I the future. This is most certainly not limited to movie stuff and would defiantly add stuff like midgewater and the barrowdowns.
I do like your idea (and mojangs) of having themed updates, and this is only a suggestion.
Saw the Q & A on the Facebook page. Some new ideas and a couple I have suggested in the past but received no reply to... (it's cool, no hard feelings) - New crops/food such as corn, tomatoes and chips, Ironwood (an alloy between Iron and Wood, to symbolize the relationship between Elves and Dwarves), the Dragon Scale for when you add Dragons (Used to make armour and as a firework ingredient), different types of Elven Cavilary troops such as Galadhrim Swordsmen, Archers and Lancers (I feel the Elves need varied classes. Orcs and Dwarves have ranged and close) as well as Middle-earth troops having Enchanted Items on Hard Difficulty like in the Overworld, 'Wall Defences' which could be seige weapons that attack vertically (ie. flamethrowers, rock droppers, etc) and a 'Heavy' troop for the Good Side. My questions - are Villages still on for Beta 7 or after 1.6? What are the next couple of biomes you plan to add and when are Goblins and Oliphants planned? Also, as a 'post story' idea, will there be a Wizard race and Crafting Table? I remember hearing somewhere that Gandalf was from village of wizards on an island, but was one of the 5 who lived on Middle-earth...
Can you please reply? I have literally put all my ideas into this one comment... Take your time :-)

All those ideas are great, however the island for the wizards is a mistake (no hard felling though). I know what you mean, the island called valinor. This island was home to the valar(gods basically) and maiar(immortals but not as powerful as the valar) such as the istari[wizards(there were only five in all)] the belrog, Sauron. I could go on but it would take to long. The island is in the book called the silamrilion which is the history of middle earth, it is only one of many places in the book so it will not be added anytime soon. Also most people know the island by "the undying lands"
Also some other things about york ideas which aren't that big of a deal.
The eliphants are called mumikal(possible misspelled don't have a book or anything near by)
I don't really see chips being in middle earth...
And finally dragon scale, it is a great idea but will have to wait along time for basically the same reason valinor won't be added soon. It would need a dragon which would mean adding erebor which is part of the hobbit and this mod is called "the lord of the rings mod" so it will be added most likely in the future, though the firework idea is a bit out there. The dragon firework is from gandalfs fireworks and gandalfs were special something no one else could do.
These are just some things pointed out hopefully you don't take then the wrong way these are good suggestions with a few tweaks here and there.
1. Feed them your body (pg 10)
2. Run away (pg 150)
i'll feed them my body, doesn't sound THAT bad.
There's a major problem with your mod and mcpc+.
The dev has posted a fix for it in that issue thread, it's a one-line addition to one of your files.
Please add that and recompile; I'm unable to upgrade to your latest beta due to this issue.
On second thought, don't make that change.
It spawned a LOT of orcs.

Well THAT ought to tick off Mevans. Good job, I guess.
