u should put in the ability to set the termanel to a keep a specific amount of craft-able items instead of having to click the begin button every time u run out of that craft-able item.
I'm having issues crafting complicated recipes from the MAC. The MAC is 4x5x5, contains 9 crafting cpus, and the system has more power than it knows what to do with. If i tell it to craft a VERY low level thing, like a chest, it does so in a split second. However, if I tell it to craft, for example, a precision import bus it does nothing. Then, when I check the crafting monitor, without moving, it's empty; however, if I spoon feed the system all the stuff required it THEN will make the item. The system is behaving as though it is being reset whenever i ask it to do a complex task, any solutions?
I'm new to Applied Energistics, so please excuse my ignorance.
I read the website information about energy usage, but I still can't seem to figure out how to power my ME system. I'm using four ME drives, all with 64k storage cells in them (yes, I know that's a lot), but it won't power. How many engines (I'm using Buildcraft), or other types of power sources would I need to power my system?
Any Help guys? Im messing around with the IC2 reactors and i want to automate the repair of the LZH-condensator's i know how to pull the Almost dead LZH-condensator's out of the reactor and put them back in but how do i make the ME system to autocraft the repair? (I dont Fully understand AE Yet)

you can setup pre-crafting to accomplish this. ( export bus + level emitter -> interface )

Sounds like something is causing your network to reset, and thus lose your network progress, try removing dark cables, and make sure things are chunk loaded if possible. If those don't work try disconnecting some segments of the network to try and isolate the cause.

Check your Controller block, it should tell you the power requirements, and its also where you insert power into the system.
Simple idea to add more features to the wireless terminal.
I had an idea to add 3 upgrade item slots to the wireless terminal interface that will expand the functionality of the wireless access terminal
inserting a processor will add a tab that shows the crafting monitor.
inserting a level emitter will add a tab for storage monitor.
and inserting a storage cell will add a crafting grid.
I honestly have no idea what a wireless storage monitor would accomplish its like a very limited terminal, the crafting monitor idea has been tosse around quite a bit but still not sure what I might do there.
As for the crafting terminal i'm not sure, I've previously refused this suggestion in the past, but I figured I'd re-think it over for AE2, you can chek on that here: http://ae2.ae-mod.info/Features/0281/
Hello AlgorithmX2, I've been using your Mod for quite some time and have noticed on most of the FTB servers they aren't protected by the grief prevention so it came to me, "Why not have a ME History Terminal" so you can see the last 'x' items that have been taken out, this could help loads if you wan't to keep an eye on someone you don't trust or you feel someone's trying to steal from your ME System.
This is not a bad idea, however it requires more infrastructure then I can probably provide for it at this time, to really do this right, would be a decent undertaking, and it would make a great addon.
I figured out what the issue was, for some reason I was missing a crafting component, red stone, and when the system reached that point it just canceled the job... it's a bug you may wish to look into so It wont make its way into AE2
I'm having some trouble trying to get Forge Multipart to work with AE cables. I was under the assumption that this should work but I made some smoothstone multipart panels and covers (tried both) and I couldn't get them to be placed in the same block as a cable. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong (probably more likely).
Thanks

AE2 is a re-write so theres pretty much no chance a random bug "being copied" from AE1.

AE1 doesn't support FMP. and AE2 dosn't have its support enabled yet because theres no Official release of FMP yet.

So that means that there is no way to hide cables inside blocks right now (MC 1.6.4)?

Please have some WRITTEN tutorials on how to get started, and what the mod can do. I don't like having to watch 30min videos just trying to figure out what this mod is all about. I rather have something I can read in 5-10mins and get the jist of it. These videos are not helpful and are honestly detrimental in attracting new people. I don't have hours upon hours of free time to just watch videos on any new mod that might be interesting.
I need a quick paragraph and how to get started. Sure a wiki is great but it doesn't help me in getting started. This is a growing problem with mods and their lack of built-in tutorials or just tutorials in general. For christ sakes, 30-40min long videos!? On just the basics? Done by an amateur youtuber? Come on...
Now your not the first to do this but the first I'm complaining to about it but won't be the last. I'd love to check out new mods but this is ridiculous and it will start making me skip over mods entirely in the future if this continues.

As well as the rest of the wiki, I'm not sure why you decided to rip on me for not having text based information, when I have one of most up o date, and comprehensive wikis of any mod.

Thank you! I did not see those links when I was browsing around the wiki. I saw the videos on the front page, ignored those jumped to the wiki, couldn't really understand anything as I was clicking around and just dropped it like that. At least now I know what the mod is about.
My apologizes for ripping into you like. It's just a troubling trend I'm running into and snapped. Anyway, thanks! I'll give this a good read.
Demanding that modders must create documentation as well as producing fantastic mods is utterly outrageous. If someone gives you a sandwich, would you demand napkins or you won't eat their sandwich? Someone gives you money, would you demand a wallet or you won't spend it? @AlgorithmX2, you just do what you want to do. If you want to make documentation, great. If you don't, someone else will. MineCraft itself has no documentation, and is proud of it.
Like the mod. As i play, i seem to change the mods that I have installed for me and my son to play on.

Check your config, make sure it is set to not useBuildCraftChips.
You have to use the Partition Editor to format it with the item(s) you want first.

AE will never support backwards power conversion; You can use P2P to connect ic2 over a network, i'm not sure what you even suggesting here.

You can use BC Facades which AE supports, or you can use immibis micro blocks.
