Installation:
Windows:
Download the mod Open up %appdata%, if you don't know how to do this, start>run, then type in %appdata% Install ForgeML (Must be the latest "recommended" version of forge)
After installing Forge, browse to the .minecraft/mods folder Place the Jar file in the mods folder That is it, you are ready to go. Enjoy!

Q: Can I use your mod in my mod pack? -A: For now I don't want my mod to be distributed on any other website than here, on my thread. So don't ask me, the answer is NO.
Q: Can you backport the mod to a previous version?
-A: No, I will not do this because it makes absolutely no sense. Why would anyone ever want to go to a previous version of the game? The code works differently and it would just be a pain in the ass.
Q: Is this mod compatible with the XXXXX mod? -A: This mod should be compatible with every mod.
Q: How do I install the mod? -A: Read above.
Q: Does this work on SMP? -A: Yes it definitly does. And it's installation is the same as in the client but in whatever server folder you created by installing Forge in the minecraft_server.
Q: Can you make tamable/ridable mobs? -A: There will be tamable/ridable mobs as soon as I learn how to do it, and as soon as I have some free time off school.
Q: Can you make XXXX mob/block/item for me? -A: Maybe. If I like your idea I will work on it my way. So make any suggestions and I'll tell you if I'll do it.
Q: How/Where can I tell you about my suggestions? -A: Just post your suggestions in the topic replies and I'll get working on it if I find it a good idea!
Q: Can you make the XXX hostile mob tamable/ridable? -A: Definitly no. They are hostile for a reason, so stop asking it. It annoys me.

Spawns in the overworld and is rarer than diamond. It can be found between levels 1-25 in Y coordinates. The block needs to be smelted to get the ingot. Sarlite tools, weapons and armor are more efficient than diamond!!! Flamite ore and ingot:
Spawns in the nether and is as rare as sarlite. The block needs to be smelted to get the ingot. Flamite tools, weapons and armor are more efficient than sarlite!! Illiwon ore and gem:
Spawns in the overworld and is rarer than sarlite. It can be found between levels 1-18 in Y coordinates. The block drops the gem.

Spawns in the overworld and is rarer than sarlite. It can be found between levels 1-18 in Y coordinates. The block drops the gem.

I love this mod! It's great having another weapon to play with.
I do feel like all the Scythe Blades' strengths are very similar in power, taking only two-three hits to kill most common mobs. Maybe you could make the weapons' powers more diverse?
Not a fan of the mod. Mainly because it doesn't really add anything.
Sure, material costs are a little bit higher. But unless you've almost tripled the durability and damage these do [especially for Diamond tier stuff], then i'd much rather use those resources on multiple of the items. Especially with the new repair system.
Also, I hate to be THAT guy. But you're also competing with a way more in-depth, up to constant date weapons mod that adds so many balanced, useful tools // weapons to the game. And better yet, it supports other mod metal tiers.
All in all. It's just a simple small mod that you've made. A couple people may add it for the idea of wanting an additional weapon. But it's nothing i'd install over another weapon mod.

It is just a small mod I started yesterday. Yes, I was aware of the other weapons mod, but hey I have to tell you, I JUST LEARNED modding yesterday So this is maybe a test to it. But I'm planning on working on the mod 25/7 (Yes I meant to say 25) To make it a unique mod that takes requests from users ideas, and that also has weapons that never really existed (Like some weapons mod add crossbows, ill add squarebow (LOL)) So yeah, I'm also planning on adding tons of ores. The problem is that I'm still learning!

I like it so far but more features are necessary hopefully maybe one day this could be as good as Balkons weapons mod good luck
