sounds cool,but what is MK Scorpions harpoon and Ivy's Chain sword from the soul Caliber series?? (I'm not from US,so...I don't know what they are....
and...another idea for the slingshot:
combine a glass bottle and the slingshot,so the slingshot can shoot potions further~
or maybe just let the potions become the ammo?

Also I need to find a way to give the potions more *umpth* when they are shot.
Here is a small break down of what I am thinking....
String Slingshots can fire seeds, Fiber-wired Slingshots can fire seeds and potions.
This means Fiber-wired Bows will gain a new arrow aswell (Thinking Iron arrowheads).

Since we're all admittedly lazy buggers who can't be bothered with a simple right click mechanic on a block, I propose that the elevator block to be able to move from redstone signal pulses, similar to how a dispenser is powered. The directional toggle state can be made (I think) from a mod custom lever designed only for the elevator block. The right click function could still be present. And, to produce a series of pulses, either the player will have to make it along with the platform or have another block that produces pulses, similar to the timer from redpower. This is more like an another option for transport, along with the lever + rightclick currently present in the latest release.
Since Harken Scythe was mentioned, well, living metal chainmail, garotes, bows and slingshots, but I'm guessing you already have that planned. Also a soul iron chain that does stuff (?) like maybe forcibly pull a nearby hostile mob up it, like those haunted chains in movies that grab you and choke you to death. And living metal wires can be placed like vanilla trip wires but can be configured to activate only on touch of certain mobs and/or players.
And that scorpion harpoon thing, could it also work from dispensers, because I'm sure that would be sweet.
Anyway those are what I can think of for now really. Keep up the good work in modding. I like how you have unique features across the mods you write, not many modders do that, so kudos to you!

Edit 2: Found the cause of the Threader, not hanging on side of walls correctly. -Fixed
Edit 3: Was able to reproduce the open fence gate and pressure plate sounds. Going to play with it a bit to see if a fix can be made.Fixable however it would be costly (may cause lag). I am going to leave it the way it is, and I suggest you place a pressure plate on each side of the Fence Gate to insure the player opens and closes as they walk through. Also be sure the player is no long standing a pressure plate when handling the elevator. Over all a minor annoyance, not worth hurting performance to fix.Edit 4: Found the cause of the Door Dup bug. -Fixed

What was fixed!!?
-Threader Blocks now hang on the side of wall correctly, no more floating devices.
-Wooden Doors and Iron Doors no longer can be Dupped, by going up or down on Elevators.
Was there anything new?
Why yes... garrote wire now has a better "Aiming " System. Meaning you must aim for the head of targets you wish to kill. *Be careful while looking at Enderman >D*
Also the range has been increased!! No more having to stand on their toes in order to snap necks.
I also have plans for horizontal elevators too, which would function much like Gondolas. Only thing that is stopping me there is a simple rendering of horizontal Chains. The elevator is easy to do, but the images for the chain textures is just horrid!!
Lastly, I hope to create a different type of Elevator. Let me explain...
The elevator in game right now is what I call a "Chain Feeder". An elevator that feeds chains through the elevator block to produce movement.
Example:
[ ] -o-o-o <-- [E] --> o-o-o- [ ]
Usage: For Vertical and Horizontal Elevators.
The other type would be called a "Chain Eater". An elevator that eats chains to move in that direction or spits chain out to move opposite direction.
Example: [E] = Elevator block.
[ ] -o-o-o <--- [E], [ ] -o-o <--- [E]
or
[ ] -o-o ---> [E], [ ] -o-o-o ---> [E]
Usage: Draw bridges, gates, ect.
