Forge website seems up now.
An aweful lot of mods use this API. If yours isn't compatible with it, it will seriously lower its interest :/.
Thanks for telling me the website is up. Now i just need to figure where to get the source; there are about 20 builds for 1.4.6 and 1.4.7 (which is compatible).
EDIT: Facepalm, they had a "source" link right next to the "download" link.
It looks like in order for forge compatibility to work, I will need to make a completely separate version of the mod. Forge just changes too much of the Minecraft source. This is why I was against large APIs and loaders in the first place...
Nice mod! Compliments Vanilla Really nicely. I did a mod spotlight, could you attach my spotlight to the main post, thanks that would be awesome.

You are right. Still, they expand the modding possibility so much that it's quite a good thing they exist .
True, and there are a lot of good mods that only work because of forge. And it does make multiplayer mods 100 times easier. I used to run a MoCreatures server, and it was easy to work with becuase forge told the players what mods they needed.
it looks cool, do you have any plans of adding more layers of snow like the Modern Winder Mode mod? perhpas you could add that feature in snow heavy biomes. And how about snow shoes?
Great mod! I think Blizzards would make a good addition. Like increase snow fall, lowered viability, snow on the side of blocks, and deals damage if you don't have armor on. Not sure if already suggested, but if so consider adding it!

Here is an idea I have thought about:
Depending on the tempurature of the biome, once snow became full height, it would turn solid and begin piling up on top of that.
This would only work for one layer
Realy cold biomes could form a layer of Ice under the solid snow
I am also considering adding an enchantment that makes walking in snow easier, or maybe snowshoes or skis.

That is actually a really good idea... I will think about this!
I am adding options for the settings and making them save and load. I found a kinda-sorta-maybe patch for the bug, It pretty much freezes items when they touch snow, so that they cannot go flying everywhere. Progress on the mod has been kinda slow because school is now back in.
Im not sure what you think but i think it would be awesome if the snow piling up on stairs, halfslabs etc.. Just a suggestion. Realy cool mod btw. Sorry for bad english

You mean to make snow pile up on top of those? Or do you mean make it fall in the shape of them?

Cool! I will definitely add it!

Thanks! I was originally going to have full height snow blocks turn solid, but i decided instead to make them slow you down.
Wait until you see the update i'm working on
Well this is what I have left to do:

I know this has nothing to do with this comment but, wow, you would survive 33 days? I would die 2 days before you then XD
One of my friends got 35!

like this mod did
