After the 1.3 update, placing water in the nether was no longer possible, even with an ice block. It has become apparent to me that some people may want to have water in the nether for mob farms so I decided to make a simple Minecraft Forge mod.
Nether Water adds only 2 items: an Empty Obsidian Bucket and a Full Obsidian Bucket.
To craft an Empty Obsidian Bucket use this pattern:
Simply place a Full Obsidian Bucket in the Nether or Overworld just like a Vanilla Bucket.
Note: The bucket will BREAK upon placing the contents for balance purposes and it will only place water in the Nether!
Requirements: Minecraft Forge Recommended Build for 1.4.5
Provides config file for the item id's for maximum compatibility!
Thanks so much, Really great mod for people who want to make their main base in the nether. I will never understand why it was disabled in the first place by Notch I think might been more griefing related or to easy for obsidian. Anyway's Thanks a ton!
