are we able to change the textures of the armors because when i attempt to open the mod and change it then recompress it back in a .jar, and minecraft then no longer recognises it as a mod? is there a way to customise the armors ourselves? thank xx
If you have WinRAR, you can use it to open the jar, then double click on a texture file to open it, edit it, save it. Then it asks you if you want to update the archive. Click yes. Done, textures are changed and the mod will still work.

Hi, I don't really know if this has already been answered on a previous page yet but I encountered a bug while starting up the latest version of the alpha on a world that I used on previous versions of the mod, The bug removes the textures from all of the suits when it sits in your inventory, such as the picture below, I know how to go into the world's save files so if there is something I need to delete I can do that, if there isn't a fix for it yet I wait, it doesn't bother me that much, it just makes finding things a little bit harder, thanks!

What version of forge are you using? That isn't something caused by the mod but a different source.
So in version 4.3.12 I've tried to use the NEI mod but every time I try to launch Minecraft with it using Forge it says Minecraft has encountered an unexpected error. Please help!
Edit: I tried changing the config for the crafting recipes but it still isn't working.

I'm playin gin 1.6.4 version and there's a conflict between this mod and the morph mod in the flight ability i don't want to remove any of these mods is there a way to fix it ?
Here's the thing I don't get about that though, why rewrite at all if he's going to have to rewrite it again for future updates? It would have been easier to just learn whatever the differences are when updating to newer versions and work on those than rewrite again in 1,7,10 only to have to rewrite it again for newer versions.
Thing is, he's using a newer system, porting it to newer versions requires a bit less work than a full rewrite of the code to change features dramatically.

To answer the many questions about porting the mod, here is why it remains in 1.7.10: Porting up versions would require a rewrite or alteration to every new version of Minecraft, which I don't have the time for anymore. Also, after doing numerous polls, at least 60% of players preferred a modded 1.7.10 to all other versions. Why update when the majority are satisfied with the version at hand. The final reason being, I personally don't like the newer versions of Minecraft and I don't want to develop a mod for a version of Minecraft that I don't like; would take any joy out of it. People don't realize but by updating the mod to the latest version, it would mean it would take longer to add features into it - and people are already complaining about it not updating fast enough as is, so wouldn't make sense for me to do it.

Are you also against anyone trying to help with maintaining newer versions, i.e. closed-source? Closed-source mods just don't survive very long, as eventually when they die, they're gone, no one can bring it back.

To a degree. All the coders on the mod now help add to the current version. Again, it is about where resources are allocated. The majority of players prefer 1.7.10 so the majority of our resources go into that version. Only 30% out of hundreds of players polled preferred mods in the latest version of Minecraft.

10.12.4.142-1.7.10, the textures show up on different worlds just not this one
There may be a glitch with that world. Also use the recommended 1.7.10 forge.

Did you install code chicken core?
OH!!! WHEN YOU CAN UPDATE ?
There should be a keybind that allows switching suits. Try looking in the controls menu.

all the iron man suits?
Again, 5.0 is a WIP rewrite. Eventually, the suits will be added in. Can everyone please stop pressuring Tihyo?

Agreed.
I think that's until the rewrite is finished. After that, he may either abandon the mod or port it to 1.11.2, which will take a long time.

I found a problem! This mod is not compatible with TechGuns mod. It throws a NullPointerException whenever I try to launch the game.
