I install the mod, but it doesn't open the game.
I install 1.6.4 forge (installer)
Put the .zip folder in my mods folder.
But it doesn't open. Why?

you are using java 8 arent you use the link I used for him and download java 7
click uninstall a program then scroll down untill you find java if its java 8 uninstall it then download java 7 using the link I handed to the other guy DONT DO THIS WITHOUT OWNERS PERMISSION IF ITS NOT YOUR COMPUTER

R U super cereal right now? You are using Minecraft version 1.7.10 and are trying to use Minecraft version 1.6.4 mods? You need to use Minecraft version 1.6.4 to play Minecraft 1.6.4 mods (Unless if the mod dev said otherwise). Forge 1.6.4 is not Minecraft 1.6.4, please learn how to mod before attempting to mod.
Wait, so it's not possible to install forge 1.8 for 1.6.4, right?

How do I check which version of Java I have?
click programs

Curse Premiumread the develpment console on your launcher it might say something
so I reinstalled Java 7, and the same exact thing happened.
I installed Forge 1.6.4, and from that point, minecraft wouldn't launch
I dont know what to tell ya then mate
