Just a quick pointer, I don't think you should have Platinum because of the simple fact that metallurgy already did that. Metallurgy is a popular mod and no offence, but I think most people would rather that over this. Make sure that when you make ores they aren't ones people already have, because then they may not want to install. Keep it original and unique.
Make something that people will look at and say, "WOW! This is some interesting stuff. Cool ores too!!!" Not Copper, Tin, Bronze. Those have all been done hundreds of times.

Metallurgy 2 did a load of ores. It would be really difficult to make another modification with a different ore that exists on this planet or is fantasy.
