Im going to test about the saddle thing, but about the tall maids, Verclene actually released a version of tall maids for the mod, but that forums last time I checked I couldn't enter or it was closed, so I don't know if I have the right to post them here.
Did you ever get the opportunity to check on this? The tall maid textures really make the mod. It's like having actual adult humans running around the place instead of funny stunted dumpy children.

Actually, you know what? I looked at the Japanese forum post and couldn't find a link to the updated models, but DID see in Verclene's OP for LittleMaidReengaged 8.x that it says "Also you can use the older models", so I tried just copying the 1.7.10 Beverley and Chloe models from my 1.7.10 modpack to 1.10.2.
And they Just Work. Drop the zip files in the mods directory, restart, boom, done.
Looks like leading with string and naming using a name tag don't work in 1.10.2.
Neither does the saddle trick.
(A lead rope works though.)
A was about to tell you that in Verclene post in Japanese forums has a link to 1.10.2? models, but luckily you got it working, as the ones I had (1.8) didn't. I remember reading Verclene say that the string was removed because Minecraft leads were a thing. I have had no problems renaming mine, did you tried shift-click? The saddle have been not working for a while, maybe I should post it at GitHub.

Shift-click with a nametag, right?
.....Wait. Shift LEFT or RIGHT click? I may have been right clicking...

OK, the problem is I haven't used a vanilla nametag in so long I was misremembering how to use vanilla nametags — or, now, how to use name tags on non-Mo'Creatures mobs, which have a totally different renaming mechanism from vanilla mobs. With MoC mobs, you right-click with a blank nametag, then type the new name. Mo'Creatures used to have its own name tags, but now uses vanilla ones, but retaining the old Mo'Creatures mechanism. Confusing...
But yeah, used with the right method, renaming works. (The method is terrible, given the short life and low durability of anvils, but ... it is what it is. Oh, and I added a recipe to craft nametags. One tin ingot and one piece of string now gets you three nametags on my server. An expensive recipe on top of the anvil wear-and-tear would have been just offensive.)
I also see that the bug of super-rapid sugar consumption appears to have been fixed at some point.

You have PlayerForm installed both in your client and server right?
Okay, do after finding and running PLM for 1.7.10 with no issues, I think you have installed wrongly the mod. The mod requires multiple files to work, do you have them?; if you are confused I can upload the files and tell you how to install it.
Bummer. I just had to remove Little Maids (at least temporarily) from my server because I stumbled across a wild maid while exploring, and the server promptly crashed on ticking-entity. I absolutely could not rejoin the server without it instantly crashing. And I had three level-60+ maids...

[1.9.4-1.10.x]EBLib-6.1.5.8.jar
[1.9.4-1.10.x]LittleMaidReengaged-8.1.4.132.jar

littleMaidMobX-voms-Beverly-1710-v0.zip
All working with no problems.
I'm testing adding the sound pack now. It's not clear to me what the maid porter spawn egg is for or how to use it.
...And yes, the sound pack works too! Just rename the directory from mods/littleMaidMobX to mods/LittleMaidReengaged.
I can haz maids! In 1.10!

Shift-click with a nametag, right?
.....Wait. Shift LEFT or RIGHT click? I may have been right clicking...
Shift right click with the renamed nametag.
I remember that happening when you have installed Aether II, do you have it?
Renamed ... nametag ...

Wasnt there a mob that allowed the maid to use guns?

There was indeed. Japanese-only, if memory serves (but works anywhere if you can find it, of course).
The one piece of advice that sticks in my mind about it is never, ever, EVER give a maid a bazooka...
Thanks for the info, can you provide me a link? and dont worry, i wont be giving a maid a bazooka
Sorry, I don't know where to find it myself, but it is mentioned several times further back in the thread.

You have PlayerForm installed both in your client and server right?
Yes, both mod folders have the same files.
Unless i'm doing something wrong, cause there is no playerform hotkey in controls.
Which version are you using? I just tested the version for 1.12, and worked just fine. Also, you have all the requiered files?
I'm using 1.7.10, is it not compatible?
