I don't really like how the furnace-thing + allembics looks. speciallly stacking jars on top of each other, feels a bit rushed and not fitting in the mod, appart from a bit ugly by how it works with jars, like, the alembic has a jar in front, and it drips liquid into a closed jar underneath the jar in front of it.

Sorry about my english, my native language is spanish!
If you put 20$ in a box, I put 20$ in the box too and then I sell you the box for 30$, we both make a 10$ profit, right?

I think the intent is that you have the spouts pointed different directions - I think Azanor said something about blocking off the spout part so you can't put jars there anymore, so you'd have to do it that way.
on the topic of moving essentia between jars. decanting golems could just move them. azanor wants to add golem automation for the alembics. so they will be able to transport essentia anyways.
one way or the other. it doesnt even seem to be needed. i saw in dires vodeo, that the infusion altar actually drew the iter for the portable hole crafting from 2 different jars. it first emptied one, then the drew from the other.

Yeeeah, but it'd look so messy if you had three jars with varying amounts of essentia in them rather than the one with all of it in it :c
I really don't get all this stuff about "Textures are too high res." "They don't fit minecraft.". "Please revert the aspect of X block/item/etc." What's wrong with visuals being better? It doesn't make sense to go backwards.
I think the most popular request is to make it compatible with 1.6.2+ version.
ORLY?

Mostly the fact that it feels out-of-place to have Vanilla blocks 16x while having other blocks 32x.
I'm fine with it, but one has to realize that, regardless of whether one agrees with this, it's still a valid point. In fact, a lot of Minecraft's charm comes from the 16x graphics, and the feel of the game gets fundamentally altered (though not necessarily in a bad way, see the Faithful texture pack) by changing that.

Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?

I don't know. 32x32 is 4 times the pixels, but allows for more fine detail... one can even look at it as canon for Thaumcraft: Some of the things you make are miraculous, they seem more... defined.
I sort of wish 32x32 was the default for minecraft.
I switch from time to time between faithful 32x32 texture pack and another photorealistic something 128 x 128. Point is that asking to use the lowest res possible so items are barely recognizable is nonsense.
I don't see how it's nonsense to ask for things to blend well together. If anything, I'd say it's the option that makes the most sense. As someone else pointed out, part of Minecraft's charm is the minimalism used by its textures.
Personally, I'd prefer things stay as close to Vanilla-like as possible. Things like the Thaumostatic Harness felt so out of place to me that I lost any interest in using - or even crafting - the thing to begin with.
Did TC3 have 32x32 textures? I'm asking because I have a very old computer, and I don't have the money to upgrade until tax time, and I don't know if it will slow my computer down. But if TC3 had 32x32 textures, then I'm ok, since TC3 ran fine on my computer.

I avoided using the harness (as with any flying modded stuff) because I find flight to be gamebreaking. But visually and mechanically it was awesome, I loved it.

32x32 won't really slow your computer down, but higher resolution like 64x or 128x may make you lag,so normally TC3/4 would work fine, exept if you got a 60 years old computer...
That made me laugh.
I used to have a computer that may as well been 60 years old. It finally died. The computer I'm using now I got from my dad. I need Optifine in order for Minecraft to run smoothly since the update that started the whole "internal server" thing, but it still works. Now I just need to find things to do to make time go by faster, so that the mods I want to use get finished. I really want Thaumcraft, and I am ecstatic about the new things in it.

Regardless, I can safely say that I haven't been so excited for any other mod before.
Well Vazkii is gonna implement something for that purpose. https://twitter.com/Vazkii/status/383689080573136897
