I really like the idea of a builer golem, though to give it wings I think you should use it in another infusion altar recipe that has the golem in the center with the left and right colums filled with feathers. Aspects needed would include: flight, speed, motion, and control. And the main material of the golem would be amber bricks. I don't quite now about a block breaker golem (why not just use an RP one).
I was thinking more like this:
[M][O][M]
[W][M][W]
[M][E][M]
M= Golem material
O= Golem animation core
W= Wing material
E= Empty
For the sake of making it a more expensive crafting recipe, I suggest making the wing material enchanted fabric.
Also, when I think about it, it'd probably be best to give the golems actual power of flight. Consider this; if one golem runs out of materials half way up a 10 blocks tall pillar and jumps down to get more, then how is it supposed to reach up there unless it flies?

It's better to ask a stupid question than not knowing the answer.
I have an idea, I was making a laboratory under my house and I had put down a clay pot to put a Greatwood sapling in, but it didn't work. I know Silverwood tree saplings work, but what about Greatwood saplings?. I don't think this is a bug, but I thought it wood be good for aesthetics if you could do this. Also, you should be able to make element-infused stone in an infusion alter by using 4 stone and 5 shards. Again, just for aesthetics.
Thanks for the answer.
And I didn't even run this trough word correction, wow.
I try to get my english to C1 and my teachers seem to be laughing at me, because I'm one of worst students in my class.
Probably not going to work. Silverwood saplings need aura to grow. If there isn't nearby, they will remain saplings. The only way is to move a node closer (but nearby nodes should be drained too) or use crystal clusters.
It seemed to work for me.

That make a lot more sence Bernardos. I truthfully don't like it that you have to use either a buildcraft flattener or computercraft turtels (I am no good at programming) to creat large and modular structures. Yes for enchanted fabric being wings, and while the golem isn't flying the fabric would look like a cape with a line down the center which would expand out when he flies.
Lailan: What is a C1 equivilent to in the U.S. gradeing system, a C+? Overall you seem to have a handle on English.
Nah. Just get a Silverwood sapling, plant it, and whack it with your Hoe of Renewal. Boosh, instant aura. I'd plant a few and merge the new nodes, just to give you enough to work with. Don't worry about the flux that creates, the nodes from those trees are Pure, so they'd self-purge the aura.
Whack it, huh?
Eh, games. From whacking saplings for instant gigantic trees to whacking toolboxes for automated sentry guns. Somehow, a downward striking motion that can easily kill a guy is consistently used to construct things. Go figure.
At least TC3 has magic as an excuse, huh?

Does anyone have any experience with running this on a server? As in, is it demanding/does it cause a lot of lag?
I'm a bit afraid my PC isn't good enough to run a FTB-server with this installed in it, already deleted Mystcraft to be sure.
No it's not it’s the fifth step out of six from the ESOL [English for Speakers of Other Languages] tests. It is the level of English commonly needed to study in English and some international or big company’s also want that, or at last the step below the B2.
Back to playing, I still need to figure out how to transport the resources from the arcane bore, to my base. Ideas?
Enderchests? Tesseracts? or you could go full old school and carry the stuff, not sure how well Golems interact with Mystcraft portals I suspect they don't at all (Azanor is good but that is a level of pathfinding that would be a mongrel to code I'd suspect) but that would be very cool your slaves portalling over and bringing your haul back.
you can make a world with the same seed and then copy the aura.dat file to the world that has broken auras
That doesn't work anymore with the newest version... I've tried a few times.
But I did manage to fix my nodes by making a new world of that seed then using MCEdit to transplant my base... not a perfect or easy solution to the problem, but it's worked for now.
I wonder if you ever consider using essence for some enchanting machine? I was speaking with some people and we where saying that it would be nice to have an "infusing" machine that can infuse tool, weapon and armor. I could imagine a long and aura consuming process that can add great enchant to mostly everything. It could also be connected to a Brain in a Jar that need to have Xp in it.
There a lot of people that want less "unprecise" enchanting system and somehow i think that Essentia is one of the best way to make it. After all if we infuse metal or leaf into a Axe we may get some special enchant.

If world seem wrong. If you don't understand then remember... The answer is 42!
EViLGUARD: I believe that Azanor will creat a better enchantment table, and I do agree it should run off of essentai as well as xp. I don't think he will make it so that the essentia determines the enchantment.

I left the enderman to observe and emulate the steves, I want to know more about them. Wish me luck.
Logging out & back in in SP while a projectile from the ice wand is in-flight corrupts, i assume the same would happen if a server restarted.

So.. I don't know whats going on in my world but no matter what I do the aura never drops, never becomes unstable, no matter how much I use my wand it doesn't seem to be dropping the aura like it should, and I dont know why its doing this o.O
Ok after further inspection, its drained every single aura around the aura my house is in. And it will never will drop or go dangerous no matter what I do o.O
Omega3kaa: What version are you running, and what type of node is it? If you can update, then do so, it might fix your problem. You could also try regening the Aura, or you might just let it be and abuse the heck out of it. Otherwise I don't know what to do.

About MystCraft portals and golems:
Here's an idea. Make the portal in a sort of tunnel-cave-thingy, and on the inaccessible side, put a marker block for the golem. The golem should try to walk towards it, but will hit the portal instead. Then it will go through the portal, and then can do what you want it to there. You might be able to bring it back the same way.
I haven't done much with golems yet (still stuck with this Craptop, and after I somehow managed to break my setup so it only ran 1 FPS I'm a bit skittish about reinstalling stuff) so I don't know if this idea will work or not.

Aura Nodes should NEVER "die off", they should eventually replenish themselves from nearby Nodes, even if they are on zero.
*through.
