Sorry but can anyone answer my question and I am not trying to be bad ?I am wondering why I saw a video by some youtube commentry by SOTmead that seems to have the latest thaumcraft version ahead of this release. Are they bug testing or what ? Also while I am here I have a bug with mo creatures and this mod EVERY mob has been replaced with a smart zombie. Anyways thanks for listening .
There's a beta server up and running. I've forgotten what it's called, but it's exclusive for Devs and VIP's and such, if I'm not mistaken.

It's better to ask a stupid question than not knowing the answer.
I've been using half-slabs for shelves. Looks quite nice. I ring my entire lab in the shelving, and have a jar for each Aspect in alphabetical order, let my golem drop phials in the chest, and refill the jars by hand as needed.
Be nice if Thaumcraft was friendly with Shelf by Risugami, but MC crashes everytime I put an Item in there from TC3..

I recently migrated my minecraft account to a Mojang account, however doing that changed my login to my email address. The problem now is any new world I start, my T3 research has disappeared, my Thaumonomicon is empty. Is there a work around for this?

I recently migrated my minecraft account to a Mojang account, however doing that changed my login to my email address. The problem now is any new world I start, my T3 research has disappeared, my Thaumonomicon is empty. Is there a work around for this?
If this is only on new worlds then that is normal since research doesn't carry from one world to the other. if this is on a world you made before you transferred your account, then i don't know what happened
If this is only on new worlds then that is normal since research doesn't carry from one world to the other. if this is on a world you made before you transferred your account, then i don't know what happened
I have started a few worlds before i migrated my account and I started with all the research already in the Thaumonomicon. I recall someone saying that your research is saved to your account name now and every time you start a new world your research goes with you.
However since my login details changed I no longer have all my research done.
Oh man, want that new update so bad. New golems, new tools, and a new bore! My one suggestion is to allow us a way to use other wands in a similar machine. And as always, gosh that bore looks amazing!
Witch Huts, Desert Temples, Jungle Ruins. Find one of these, and you've got one heck of a larger-then-normal aura node.
Makes Witch Huts one of, if not the best, thing in the game. Infinite Glowstone, Redstone, etc, etc, and a huge aura node to boot.
BTW, I made a sible biome Mushroom Island Age a while ago and noticed that the Nodes in there were pretty large as well, several being over NINE THOUSAAAAAAND 900.
Holy crap, the bore is amazing [+150]. Also, I noticed the guy was using an enchanted pickaxe, and he got a Amber Bearing Stone, so it seems the bore carries the enchantment. That's even more awesome!
Oh, derp, he's getting smooth stone instead of cobble, it obviously carries the enchantment.
Hello everybody ^^
There has been an updated version of thaumcraft installed on forge craft, once again spoilered for those who like to discover new stuff by themselves :
the arcane bore has returned, it is now made of a base and a head and it is VERY expensive, it requires a wand of excavation an a pickaxe to run, and cost at least one vis per block mined. Once again Azanor made a amazing texturing and animating work
another world generated structure is now here : totems made of special obsidian, this mysterious material, of unknown origin, is impossible to duplicate and you need it to move nodes around
BTW, I made a sible biome Mushroom Island Age a while ago and noticed that the Nodes in there were pretty large as well, several being over NINE THOUSAAAAAAND 900.

Not surprising. In TC2 the Mushroom Biome(s) were the best place for aura as well. The bar would always be at 3/4 to 5/6.
When I first saw the mod, just a glance when it was in Tekkit. I didn't like it, mainly because I was being lazy. But man oh man. I'v been running this in my own modded world and absolutely love it. Must have already put a good 10+ hours into doing nothing but collecting materials for researching, and figuring out how stuff works.
I normally don't say Minecraft is better than vanilla with 'X' mod, but honestly, this game adds such a huge depth. And with minecraft having a pretty lore-free background, it doesn't make me think it doesn't belong. Definitely can't wait to see how this progresses.

Thauminomicon information is saved per username. So, it's a new book for his e-mail. He's going to have to start his research over.
I have started a few worlds before i migrated my account and I started with all the research already in the Thaumonomicon. I recall someone saying that your research is saved to your account name now and every time you start a new world your research goes with you.
