What version of forge are you using? With the lastest recommended (v6.6.0.497) I can't replicate this crash. There also seems to be a conflict with the default Item ID of the Ore Converter. This can be solved by opening the config file of ODC (located in .minecraft/config/fodc.cfg) and changing value of I:oreconverter in the item section (something around 9021 seems not to conflict).
What other info do you need? I didn't see any ID conflict. (i could have resolved that :P)
Any chance you can make this work similar to an automatic crafting table? I would like to be able to, say, pump RP, TE, and IC2 copper into the conversion table, and then pump out only, say, IC2 copper. It would be nice to hook it up to my logistics pipes network so that I can convert the ores.
Here's the thing: I used thermal expansion to pulverize copper and then cooked the pulverized copper into thermal expansion copper ingots. I set up a bunch of autocrafting tables that use such copper. I then set up a crafting table that would automatically turn the copper into copper blocks.... which turned out to be IC2 copper. If I could set up my logipipes to automatically convert the IC2 copper into TE copper, that would be pretty freakin' awesome.

And here's some images of what this looks like in game.
This has got to be the best thing since sliced bread. And to those people who said it has already been done.Where are those mods now?So what if something has been done before,if you can improve on an existing idea then go for it.we wouldn't be where we are right now if ideas didn't get reworked or improved.
Keep improving or adding new features and update for newer versions of minecraft and I'll be a supporter for life.
Um, I'm trying to convert the Ruby from B0bGary's Growable Ores mod into the Ruby from BOP, but it doesn't seem to be working. Either I'm not understanding how this thing works, or it's just not compatible. I just put it into the converter and it should show it's other forms on the other side, right?
Is this limited to ingots, ores, and blocks of ingots? That greatly reduces its usefulness. Could you switch over to a blacklist of things not allowed to work(which can be changed in the config)? That would make a much smaller list then adding things to a whitelist(planksWood and such).

There is a rare mythical button called "Search" that likes to answer questions; however, due to its nature, it often blends in with its surroundings so as to remain hidden.
its verry nice but it doesnt work for copper ore 3372:5 I think its from the flippin galacticraft any ideas ? the yogscast has/will have the same problem in their latest videos on main channel and on sips/sjin channel
It appears not all of the Galacticraft ores are registered in the Ore Dictionary.

By default ODC only supports ores, ingots, dust, and blocks. This can be changed by editing the S:classprefixes line in the config file. The reason for this is that some mods register more advanced stuff, which can cause balance issues.

I tried adding slimeballs to the list using NEI to find out their ore dictionary name, but it did not accept it.

It's a nice mod and useful. I tried adding "fluids" as a class, but that does not seem to work. It would be nice if I could convert the Tinkers Construct Liquid Ender to the more useful Resonant Ender of Thermal Expansion. But I guess that might be considered more of a cheat -grins-, esp when using Mystcraft and you have an age filled with Liquid Ender lakes.

What exactly are the class prefixes?
Class prefixes are the word that ore name starts. For example "oreCopper", and "oreTin" both start with the word "ore". When the prefix is added ODC looks for all Ore Dictionary names that starts with the prefix and add them to the whitelist.
For slimeballs add the "slimeball" to the prefix list. The line in the config file should look something like this:

Fluids are registered in a separate dictionary for fluids which ODC does not support.

Can you post the content of ForgeModLoader-client-0.log?
