So ,what would be amazing is ,if this was able to work with biomes o plenty,like if it basically melded with it,then we would have a BOAT LOAD of new environments,then if this could be the new cave system in the game we have a comeplety overhauled world,new biomes,new cave system.

Risugami's Death Chest is needed in your first day in this mod. It is very challenging.
The only thing I don't like is how active Settlements can still spawn monsters, maybe add some torches to the floor?
1. I did it without any mods on my first day, and I ended up torching out a mile of territory, having a nice brick house, and building stairs to the surface from near the bottom of the world >: ) Well, basically, it takes skill. But I do hate it when I lag near a cliff/my shift button disagrees with me >.>

I was able to convert almost the whole mod to Forge(for now, only commands don't work). So I think about switching to Forge instead of ModLoader, but I'm not sure. My main concern is if either ModLoader of Forge won't be discontinued after Modding API is out. Also, there is little the Forge would bring to this mod. For now, it is only infinite block id's and item sprites and better biome management. I'm still not sure which API to use now...

Personally I would hope you'd continue with a Modloader version, even if you do produce a Forge version as well,

Damn i love this mod i have been playing minecraft since infdev and after beta i kinda lost interest of minecraft but i looked up this mod a while ago and saw it was discontinued then i saw this one and i was like hot damn! but anyways i got some ideas in my world i live right next to a village and i saw those walls and i thought that it was way too safe for them. why not have it so there is a huge amount of zombies and creepers that try to break open the walls and help the zombies get into the village and then there is some villagers that help fight off the zombies and creepers and there trained in a like a barraks? i dont know just a idea and maybe you could have make it so your Character played a part in the village?
Possible idea for new options.
-Generate ore clusters: Generate ores in similar way to default ore generation.
-Generate Abandoned Mineshafts.
-Generate Strongholds.
It can be a hassle for me to find enough end portal frames to make End Portal. The problem with abandoned mineshaft is that they may generate floating. And strongholds? Since the flat ground is at layer 30, (not surface) strongholds may occasionally be exposed. But most of the rooms will be under the flat layer. Some of the rooms will be visible.
Possible idea for new structure: Oasis. It's very rare and contains healthy tree and 2x2 water spring. Whenever a chunk is generated, there is 1 in 10,000 chance that it will be generated. It's on surface. The tree will help you because it contains saplings. It's very rare.
Is it possible to find Saplings? If so, are they extremely rare?

Thank you! About the villages - some other people wanted the opposite - no creatures inside and around villages So I'm keeping it the way it is now. Well about the no creatures maybe you could add a configurable thing so people can chose what they want to happen. and for the repairing maybe just maybe there could be like a mayor you talk to and then you can press like repair all buton and it repairs the village as long as you have all the needed things?

Well, that would be a possibility, but I want to keep the village available for upgrades and changes made by player.

Plus do you know what make a awsome gameplay for anyone wants to have another challenge added to this. Put this mod and the solar apocolypse mod and bam you got a hard ass amount of gameplay

He has considered that idea, seeing that you can't get most of the cavegen blocks in normal worlds; but however, that's about all I know

Personally I would hope you'd continue with a Modloader version, even if you do produce a Forge version as well,
Forge supports ModLoader mods. So if you're on Forge, you still can use Cave-Gen mod since FML loads virtually all ModLoader mods.
