Stopping by with a story that just happened and it involves your camping mod.
Me and the kids were in a field with all our tents set up and the campfire was going. We were in a field area some distance away from the main base, so we could do some serious grass cutting for seeds (Pams mods). my lil girl got hungry so she went to dig into her backpack, and it had texture glitched. So she could not find it. i suggested she log off and back on real quick so it would show back up. When she logged back in, she did not look down at her keyboard and pressed the "Q" button (item tossing). And just happened to be the correct distance from the campfire to chuck her entire pack in the fire. Now instead of crying about it she giggled about it and said that now the marshmallows were all crispy. But was sad that she could not dig them out of the fire because it was too hot. Now her little brother was watching this happen and so he got over there and tossed HIS pack in too. I was like WHY. And he said he wanted burnt marshmallows as well.
Could you please let me disable any and all client side server side checks for updates:

Ok I will just make an config option for that, and i will release it soon I will also try to have the backpack model for when it is equipped done by then. BTW That message is showing up because rikmuld.com is down. (that also happened in 1.0.1b but then the player got stuck so the message is an improvement )

Thanks, We actually tend not to always update so not having the message would be nice too if we sit on 1.5.1 for a bit. One thing I noticed is the method of how you send the message. Every time we had moved from one world to another and jumped we got the message too haha. I'm a big hater on the reminders mainly as someone with 100 mods they add up fast.

In 1.0.1C that changed and you should only see the messgae when your player joined a world (not dimention (client/server)).
Great work on this mod. I think there may be a bug with 1.0.1c. After installation of the mod I spawned with the five books but my sky started to flash several times a minute (it looked like lightning; the blue would quickly flash white and back to blue). I quit the game, removed the jar from the mod folder and started the game back up. Once I verified everything was working, I tried installing the mod again. After starting it back up, the books no longer spawn in my inventory (the sky is fine now). Is there anyway to get the books back in my existing world?

You should spawn with all the books (its to get you started) and that "quickly flash white and back to blue" happend when you read the tent guide book when the world is not done loading (cause the recipies update them self).
I have been able to get this mod to work SSP, but not SMP. Whenever I put the jar file in the mods folder for our server, this is the crash report I get:

Yes the crash says MissingModsException, it means that you are missing a mod. for my mod to work you need to install Minecraftforge 7.8.0.684 or above.
I see there is no update yet on 101c still for 1.5.1. Not sure if someone reported this yet but if you die with the bag equipped in the new camper f key interface it dupes. Meaning you keep the old bag and it also drops.
No it doesn't you can activate this one with the F key.
EDIT:
only the 1.5.2 version will not be installed
EDIT:
wow fail sorry didn't see that part
doesn't matter I expect to be ready in 30 minutes then you can download the 1.5.2 version.
Click it!
