The download site (http://atomicstryker.net) doesn't have 1.4.5 d/l links, just a 1.4.4 ones. Does this mean that mods that are made for 1.4.4 are compatible with Minecraft 1.4.5, or am I missing something?
A definite MAYBE. IC2 API doesnt seem to have changed much, but perhaps enough. I will not be updating anymore since *announce* powercrystals has asked i return control of these 3 mods to him! He's already working at new features and will be opening his own thread, at which point i'll ... do nothing at all
he is coming back? yay means we get to have more content in them :3 btw atomic you still are a lifesaver to have kept it going for so long as mfr and pc might be small mods but they are my favorite ones
I want to give thanks for keeping up the updates on Power Converters until now, first off.
I've only just gotten started mixing IC2 and Buildcraft stuff, and was wondering if converting power supplies between the 2 was possible.
Question for people, tho. I only just now upgraded my IC2 setup machine shop setup with piping/autosorting viaa Buildcraft, and was wondering: with this mod, is it possible to power the wooden pipes that are sucking the finished goods out of my IC2 machines with the energy link + the batbox that I'm using to power said machines, or am I stuck with using redstone engines (etc) to keep those pipes piping, still?

Does that mean he will be updating them for 1.4.6 or will you still do that? Just asking so I know whether to keep checking here or not. I see you updated your other mods so I am assuming not. Thanks so much for keeping these mods updated while you did.

Well.... crap. I love this mod to death, and now 1.4.6 hits us. I've spend the last month waiting for redpower to update in hopes that my personal modpack would finally be complete. It's got like 5 things, nothing crazy. Now power converters is the one mod that's one version late. I kept seeing others on the forums get annoyed with these small MC updates and really never understood why it was such a big deal... now I finally am. The modding API was first set for release by 1.3, Mojang has managed to push it beyond 1.5. If they put the kind of effort into it that they needed to, it would be out already. I frankly don't feel that it's fair to be mad with any of the modders around here (including Atomic) because they give us all great mods for free, and spend lots of time maintaining them. I paid for Minecraft though, it's a different story.
Here's to hoping the transition of power converters is speedy and easy. Thanks Atomic for keeping users of the mod in the know, while you worked on it.
Since PC doesnt want to release untested stuff (i dont care) there won't be 1.4.6 versions from him right now. Since i dont want to be buggered about updates anymore, i did one last port ot 1.4.6 for the stuff.

That's all I wanted for Christmas
Thanks once again! Happy holidays!
I changed the config to Buildcraft power. However, I am unable to find anything pointing to how much power is needed to for the machines to function. For instance, will a redstone engine provide enough power to run any of the machines?

Block breaker takes 25 per Block, Harvester 1 per Block.
The "official" MFR just sucks. I am forced to use buildcraft engines to power the machines. And buildcraft has gone wild dooming redstone engines so you need to use those exploding things which have to be hugged all the time so they don't explode.
Since AS gave the mod back, I did not do anything with it anymore.
Atomic, can you forge this mod and continue a "MFAS" version? (MFAS = MineFactory AtomicStryker)

I think Greg nerf your nether ore. I only get 2 gold dust instead of 4 dusts like in the previous versions.Nevermind, he said it might have happened because he uses Ore Dictionary.
Minefactory reloaded, along with the other mods, have been passed from AtomicStryker back to the original creator Power Crystals. You should go to the new thread here ( http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1629898-146-minefactory-reloaded-nether-ores-and-more/ ) for the new version and updates.
Seriously? That comment was just stupid.
