New issue I've noticed with MF reloaded and a new mod called Electric Expansion. It has (steel dust ID: 14235 and steel ingot :14233) well the normal crafting recipe for the hammer takes coal and iron and outputs steel, accept with that electric expansion mod it outputs steel dust and when refined outputs steel only used by that mod or railcraft. So it hops around with whats compatible. Is there any way you could add compatiblity with the steel from that mod pack so I can craft the hammer. Both mods are utterly amazing, but that damn hammer is getting cancelled out because of the crossover recipe. Unless you could change the hammer to something else like a pry-bar and make it craft diagonally, so that it can't possibly interfere with any other mods recipes, and make the handle rubber and 2 steel or iron.. but still include those extra steel id's. Just food for though on what I encountered. Hope to see a fix if you can come up with something for it. Cheers
Ok so some mods use crafted recipes like steel for several different mods. So railcraft steel would work with yours or yours would work for railcraft. Well now I have a 3rd and 4th plugin installed that both have there own version of steel and it picks up on all of them but yours. By having theres installed, your recipe to make the hammer in MF reloaded thinks that it should now turn 4 coal + 1 iron ignot, into Iron dust instead. And its doing tihs because it doesn't know what the new steel is in the game from the electric expansion mod I have installed. Basically all you would need is to tell it to accept the steel from the electric expansion mods so that the hammer could still be crafted when using that mod.
My other recommendation was to just maybe alter the craft of the hammer for mf reloaded alltogether so it wouldn't rely on steel, and instead make it a "pry-bar" tool that instead changed the machines angle and alignment as the hammer tool never made sense for turning things. And then by doing that make it use iron and rubber, or, ladd an alternate recipe where something like that could be crafted in case things like this happen where another mods material overlaps what your mod thinkss it should craft.
I'm not exactly sure overall why your recipe is outputting dust instead of the steel bar it normally does, but it breaks the hammer recipe and theres nothing I can but pull the other mods that have steel in them because of it.

- workaround for IC2 API bug
I still seem to be getting the server error, even when the MFE isn't full. Did the download on your site update? (Had the same name as the previous version I downloaded)
Can anyone help me with my Energy Link problem? The Link isn't connecting to the buildcraft wooden conductive pipe, and i cant figure out why. This is what it looks like (picture); any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
I'm having some trouble with the water strainer. It seems to refuse to push oil through itself, but it does take in water to produce EU's. I'm using Forge build #394, IC2 1.109.113, Buildcraft 3.2, & Power Converters 1.4.4. I have the pipes directly across from each other, I even tried powering a wooden pipe on the designated exit side, am I doing something wrong or is it not working right?
(Um... If you need a picture, I took a screenshot, I'm just too noobish to insert it, I honestly never bothered to before.)
I have Minefactory Reloaded + IC2 + Ironchests mods installed. And i noticed that i can't craft the "Item Collector" because that produces an iron chest instead, an Ironchest being 8 iron or refined iron and a chest in the middle.
I tried to look around the code and I found this line in MineFactoryReloadedCore.java
OreDictionary.registerOre("ingotRefinedIron", new ItemStack(steelIngotItem));
Minefactory Reloaded rancher does not work properly with buildcraft transport pipes and waterproof pipes. adding buckets to the rancher does not yield milk, the buckets just disappear.
adding a wooded transport pipe to it makes some of the drops to go back in the rancher and the rest along the pipe.
adding a waterproof wooden pipe and a tank does not fill it with milk, it just spits out an item called spilled milk. not that i'm crying over that ...
Sorry for noob questions but...
How to install MineFactory RL for single player mode ?
1) I have clear minecraft.jar file in version 1.4.5.
2) I installed Forge 6.4 and deleted MET-INF
3) I put package from http://www.atomicstryker.net in mod folder
I can see what other mods works (rei minimap, treecapacilator) but MineFactory is not mention on Forge mod list. Do I must install other mods or delete something from zip package ?

this is a rather strange bug that happens only in my main world when using minefactory be it with wireless redstone or without it but the crash report is from with it
@stinkvis
Thats the issue hippomormor had. Are you running the current downloadable version? Open the jar and make sure there is no "buildcraft" folder inside. If it is, delete it.
If it still crashes, you have a mod loaded that loads obsolete Buildcraft API. Go through your mod files and delete "/buildcraft/api/" (UNLESS ITS BUILDCRAFT)
Can you make minefactory reloaded use forestry milk if forestry is installed? Because the entire reason why I want milk is for biogas engines, and your milk doesn't work with biogas D:
Minefactory Reloaded 1.6.2
- fixed cow Ranching to properly use and fill buckets
- fixed Liquid API usage, milk now works with Forestry Engines
- Rancher will now also suck in Items in it's area of effect (drops by dying Animals)
1.6.3
- changed Collector Recipe so it no longer collides with Ironchests
Will the jungle trees be supported by the harvesters in the future? cause they are not working with them at the moment but the planter does plant the sapling.
Not sure if it's intended not to support the jungle trees cause of the the line in the config file I:SearchDistance.TreeMaxVertical=15 that might cause lag if values are higher but if the harvesters are used in numbers, I set the number to 150 but it did not work.
I think Minefactory was the first mod I saw when I first started playing MC a couple months ago, but it wasn't available for multiplayer so I didn't bother checking it out but always wanted to try it. Conveyors seem really cool. Hope to see some good attention going to this mod but AtomicStryker must be busy with all the mods he maintains.
- followup fix OreRegistry
@ev3
... im sorry what? Could you rephrase that in a way i can understand it? Do the materials or the recipe overlap now? You want me to what?

Having used this mod back in Minecraft 1.0, I don't remember finding veins that easily!
Also, they are quite big veins!
I got 16 nether iron ores from just one vein!
With the macerator, that's a full Iron stack right away!
Again, it might just be my idea, since there have been quite a few months since I last used this mod!

maybe that's causing the crafting confusion.

Jungle logs were excluded from the Harvester because a) imba and if it harvests jungle logs you cant farm cocoa.

Find your Forge Mod Loader log file in your minecraft main folder. Put the content on pastebin, post the link here.
there are files missing in your mod file. How? You tell me.
