For me, it says "Minecraft validated. Launching" And then goes to a black screen and stays there, I even had time to eat lunch while it was in the black screen
Edit: Is there a specific version of forge that would work with this mod?
Well, you want to download the latest one for your version of Minecraft. If you're using Minecraft 1.4.5, then you want to download Forge Universal 6.4.1.426

I'll kill you if you didn't delete meta-inf
Also, I've had success with older versions of Forge. Whatever version I initial tried didn't work. I posted the version that worked for me a couple pages ago if you care to dig it up although your mileage may vary.
I downloaded your mod about a week ago. It's fantastic but I'm running into some problems. With your mod, I run Single Player Commands, TooManyItems, Optifine, More Stackables, LiteLoader, Macro Keybind, Sign Book Formatting, and of course Forge. I have had no problems using them together for the past week, but yesterday I was editing the .nbt tag of a Zombie. I was changing the CanPickUpLoot tag to 1 so I could give it some custom loot. When I proceeded to throw an item at it, the zombie refused to pick up the item. I tried this several times. I tried it with several other mobs but failed doing it. It's just strange to me that it's been working the entire week and just suddenly just stops working, everything else seems to be working. I'm was thinking maybe my map is corrupt so I tried it on another map and still had no results. I am now thinking that it's either a bug in the game or maybe an error between the mods I have installed. I hope you might have an answer, thanks!
Okay, ignore my last post. I've figured out what the problem was. It turns out that when you do /gamerule mobGrieifing false it makes it so mobs can't pick up items. I had recently turned that on and that was the problem! One again you have a great mod and can't wait to see what other great things you create!
THe new version of world editing is coming out soon right? Just interested. Anyways, im thinking of some suggestions, you sir have just added almost everything we need. I KNOW!!!!
Add Mcedit filter related things, like what sethbling does. Like.......custom spawners and stuff like that...except IN-GAME!!! and changing damage of swords and maybe even changing textures.....oh wait...tahts probably not possible.

Haven't had the time to look into it. We'll see.
And why do you need filters? You have In-Game NBTEdit!

I don't understand. These are already included, just not the textures.

In-Game NBTedit can do everything that Sethbling's MCedit filters can, except with 40% less hassle and 80% less lag.
Yay I finally got the bug fixed! Although I still don't know the cause, it was definitely not your mod, but it did contribute to it happening, I had recently uninstalled some mods and found that the bug wasn't there, I am still looking for the mod that has caused it.

I'm assuming that the other mod messed it up: this mod only allowed you to detect it
Hi! Just a warning for everyone using this mod to make potions. Don't make a custom potion effect potion with a blank compound tag in the custom potion effects spot. It will crash your game. And you will never be able to open your world again.
For those having trouble with Forge, what's the error that you're getting? Maybe you have the wrong version of Java installed?

Only if Forge works in the snapshot, which is doesn't.
