Handy tool to check if your game/server is able to keep up with the demand. Will work in all game modes, including SSP. If this is installed on the dedicated server, clients are not required to install it in order to use it.
Installation
Put into /mods folder.
Usage
/btps - Available to everyone (default), shows ticks per second in each loaded dimension
/sstats - Available only to ops (default) of dedicated servers, shows server memory usage, threads, and network statistics. This command runs garbage collection on use.
Added config options for permissions, look for BechillTPS.cfg in /config
Change /tps to /btps to prevent conflicts with other mods that provide a /tps
Void Fog Remover
Not yet updated to 1.6.1
This mod simply removes the void fog dimming and void particles near bed rock.
Installation
Replace files in your minecraft.jar that are contained in the zip, only after having installed Forge.
It's a typical jar mod if you use one of those fancy launchers, just put it after Forge.
very nice, I've been wanting this for a while, but i have one question, does this only show for vanilla dimensions or will it show for mod dimensions such as the twilight forest or mystcraft?

It will show the stats for any dimension currently loaded, by any means, rather it be yourself, another player, or a chunk loader. That was the idea anyway.

Yeah I figured that was the case. Never been too sure how mystcraft kept worlds loaded. I remember back in 1.2.5 it always kept them loaded so things must have changed since then

Forge 6.2 is for 1.4.3. You need to use Forge 6.0.1 series
Tick time is how long it takes the cpu to process one game tick from start to finish. There are supposed to be 20 ticks per second, which means that if the tick time grows greater than 50ms, you start to loose ticks.
well, i know that a second usually has 20 ticks. so it makes sense that 20 out of 20 equals 100%
but can you please tell me what "tick time" means?
is it like the time a world needs to resond? like if it's 500ms, a chest opens half a second after i clicked it? (500ms was just chosen randomly)
or what is that supposed to mean?
When a tick happens, it begins, then it ends, the time for this to complete is tick time. At a perfect 20 tps, a tick is less than 50ms, so if your tick time is 12ms: a tick happens, sleeps for 38ms, a tick happens, sleeps for 38ms, etc. If your ticktime is 500ms, I would expect large lag when opening a chest, lag greater than 500ms, more on the order of several seconds lag.
Installation
Put into /mods folder.

One suggestion though, can you setup a config file to enable/disable non ops from being able to use /tps?
